  1. Alerts going off won’t start

Ive noticed the bumper collision sensors warning/not working once after parking it inside overnight after driving in freezing rain. I knew that was likely the reason.
  2. Problem with auto-on headlights

check your settings menus. Mine is set to Auto mode when the vehicle is started. To access the headlight settings on a Ford Bronco, navigate to the vehicle settings menu on the infotainment system, typically labeled as "Vehicle" or "Lighting," where you can adjust options like automatic...
  3. Enabling taillights with DRLs - Problem

Exactly! DRL's/Auto mode create more issues than they solve.
  4. Enabling taillights with DRLs - Problem

DRL's cause a few problems: People that think they are safer, dont realize they have no tail lights when driving in rain, snow or fog. I've seen a truck pulling a Trailer in the fog.........DRL's on but no tail lights or trailer lights. DRL's do not usually turn on side marker lights especially...
  5. Does slippery mode and 2wd work in the snow

The only time I would ever use a locker on the road is to pull someone out, or get out of the ditch... your steering will be fighting against a locked rear axle, and if there are patches of clear pavement and patches of packed snow (not 100% snow covered) even with the locker not engaged, 4H...
  6. I did a test on the 4A mode the other day. 1st time trying it with slippery conditions.

I've had Wrangler Jeeps for 30+ yrs. Ive never used 4H for rain or partial snow covered roads and never went in the ditch. I only used 4H if the pavement was 100% packed snow and Ice or 100% deep snow. (and you don't want TC on cutting power if you're trying to maintain speed/momentum pushing...
  7. I did a test on the 4A mode the other day. 1st time trying it with slippery conditions.

jrollo7 I just used the button, not the slippery mode with enhanced TC.
  8. 2.7 catch can.... this might help you decide

2 things I've come across when researching when I owned a 4cy turbo JL Wrangler: Some catch cans for the wrangler I've seen included a mesh inside the can. Basically like a course stainless steel pot scrubber. It kinda made sense to have it in the can to provide more cold surface area for the...
  9. I did a test on the 4A mode the other day. 1st time trying it with slippery conditions.

Had a little snow to coat the pavement. I took a drive starting out in 4A. From a stop I goosed it good and got no spin or traction control light flash. I thought at first, these Sas tires have really good traction. Next time at a stop sign I switched to 2H, goosed it again and got spinning...

They had about 4 or 5 2...
  12. Does your Bronco have the factory skid plate on the rear lower trailing control arm mount?

Badlands 2dr has the extra reinforcement but you can still potentially mash the ears on the LCA mount.
  13. Skid plate for rear lower trailing control arm

The two Dr has a bolt for the gas tank skid on the passeger side and a hole with a nut already in it on the driver side......but these are obviosuly designed for a 4Dr but not stated as to which model they fit on their website. The hole will not line up with the skid plate bolt on the passenger...
  14. Bronco, the original SUV?

Jeesh! Feel free to go here and nit pick with those who wrote it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Willys_Jeep_Station_Wagon
  15. Using 4A when raining?

2H until I see the TC light coming on a few times as well as visual assesment. Packed snow and Ice highway driving .....slippery mode or 4A so TC is available. Deep snow.....4H so traction control is off and not reducing power. Lockers are for trails, not highways and limit turning. can make...

  19. Turn Offroad Rear LCA skid doesnt fit 2Dr Badlands!

No information stated on their website stating 2Dr or 4Dr fitment. I'll be Emailing them the info with a picture of all the machining I had to do to make it Fit.
  20. Turn Offroad Rear LCA skid doesnt fit 2Dr Badlands!

I havent installed the Driver side yet but there is nothing in the way on that side. The Passenger side hole that aligns with the gas tank skid plate bolt is not correct. I had a machine shop mill it to make a slot. The inside beveled up edge hits the gas tank skid and even if it didn't it's up...
