The BD interior is the best out of all the series in my opinion. Great color contrast that will go well with a lot of the color options. F! Can’t wait to get this thing!
I think carb grey will age well. Also a great base if you wish to customize with accent colors, stripes, etc. Mic top will look perfect and the black tops will also pair up nice in my opinion.
my build will be a carb grey 4 dr BD, Sas, mid, 2.7, mic and tow.
Yup. Makes sense. The one thing you said that sticks out to me is quality control. My thought is they need to get it right out of the gate if they want this thing to succeed. I think there will be an eye for detail when they starting building, not a rush.
Any reason why I should wait for MY22 if we’re just waiting on new colors and special editions? I think I’m good with my build, but don’t want to pull the trigger if I’m better off waiting a few more months. I’m assuming mechanically it’s the same vehicle and will be too soon to know what...
I spoke with mustang Mike yesterday and he text me this afternoon and said systems were still down due to a glitch and should be able to configure tomorrow. I was debating holding off until MY22 but I’m happy with my build and can only see prices going up, other delays, etc. So placing order!
I was seriously considering the steelies, until the wife gave me the look when I mentioned the aftermarket wheels/tires I was gonna throw on afterwards. Soooo Sasquatch it is! Take that wife!
I’m where you are. I’m stuck between the BD with steelies and adding a larger tire 33’s or Sas. The savings for not going Sas is my driving factor. I can load up on features on the BD and staying within a comfortable price point.
Since I have a couple options (Sas , 2.7) that are delayed. Should I just wait to order in the fall? I didn’t hear from mustang Mike about ordering this week, so wondering if he’s reaching out to the folks who wouldn’t be impacted with delays first?
There might be a 2” lift kit option from the factory. Get that and possibly add 33’s and that should clean it up. I’ve been toying with this idea.
Nice! Yeh, I don’t need a front locker and the rear will get me through most situations. I think this is the set up! I’m going 4 dr, but I think the 33’s will clean up the profile nicely. I also like the utilitarian look.
Agreed. I also think the 4.46 gearing would be better suited for the road. And should be fine if I want to go up in size down the road.
2” lift and maybe 33’s in same tire will be perfect. I may discuss with my dealer to see what they can offer out of the gate.
Curious, can’t really predict how modern cars will be valued in the distant future. But, do you think the 2021 model will retain a higher value if a limited number are actually produced before being considered a 2022 model? Thinking along the lines of the 1964 1/2 mustang.
Honestly, there’s plenty of options/trims for this new generation launch...we don’t need some last minute colors and special editions thrown into the mix to further confuse the reservation holders. Ford just needs to focus on getting their sh!t together so we can get a quality built Bronco...
I really hope so. This really expands the possibilities and may solve a lot of the concerns about the stance of the 4 door on the stock setup. Also helps bridge the gap for folks who may not want or cannot budget the Sasquatch, but wants factory accessories in lieu of aftermarket.
I was in the Sasquatch camp and thought the 4dr only looks good with Sas. But I’m now coming to my senses and saw pics of the BD on stock steelies w/ 32’s. It’s looks good!! I’m now considering adding 33’s to give it the “look” I want, prob better driving experience on pavement, where it will...
