If that's true and less than 2% of orders are non-late availability, that would mean EVERY RESERVATION qualified to place a MY21 order within that 2% will get their vehicle in the first batch of allocations. Right? What am I missing?

I would worry about things like power window switches, those with electric seat adjustments, etc.

Me thinks the 80% scheme was Ford's way of appeasing dealers bitching and moaning about not getting dealer stock for the first year or two. I mean if you could convert 2 out of every 10 sales to dealer stock where you could charge $5K markup, wouldn't you? Not to mention the additional vehicles...

Converting by March 19th is not the end of the world. Ford is asking you to do that anyway. Convert, tell your dealer you want a MY22 and have then classify your order with temporary code 99 (do not build).

yeah, Ford is trying to get as many reservations converted as they can, even those who plan on waiting to 2022. Trying to inflate their conversion stats for marketing purposes, no doubt.

Ask your dealer if they received any Bronco allocations from Ford. If they did, and you are first in line at the dealership, then you would get your Bronco much sooner than 2022. Late summer to early fall 2021 like everyone else who was first in line at their dealers.
