Why does Subaru hate the right rear passenger?! Only two cupholders to everyone else's 3+???
It's an outrage, and now I'm going to have to go to the Ascent1G.com and tell them I'm cancelling my reservation!
I think I saw someone on here mention that dealer was cutting them / interested 6G people a deal... not great, but not as terrible as most dealerships around here. I don't want to screw up their purchase. Then again, if they're buying from someone who would post that...
I was trolling through Facebook pages of local Ford dealers to see if any had posted about getting a demo Bronco in, and I came across this extremely confusing post about ordering (cropped out the dealer name and phone number to protect the idiots). Couldn't they at least have gone with a photo...
I wonder if they just consider the shifter collar a normal thing not worth mentioning. The Euro-spec Ecosport I drove with a manual had that, as did the manual Fiat Punto I drove. I assumed it's something everyone went to at some point after the last manual I owned that was from '07.
That seems awful. What happens if you don't drive the car for a while? The fob just dies? The lithium batteries in my Ford fobs seem to last several years. Even if the battery dies, there is a place in the car you can place the fob where the vehicle still recognizes it, though usually range...
I'm not going to worry about it. While I live in a front-plate state, I have it on good authority that you won't be able to get the front plate bracket on the badlands or any Sasquatch because it puts the vehicle over GVWR, just like the paint protection film and headliner.
😉🙃
You left out the part where people blame GVWR issues for most everything without any proof, even after Ford releases information that proves that theory wrong.
I'm still sad my Badlands is too heavy to take paint protection film without it flipping over and bursting into flames.
I think the bigger issue is going to be the loss of tax revenue for roads from declining gasoline sales, so we'll end up paying a mileage-based tax. That would also make sure that even people who have their own home solar panels for charging get to pay in. I guess that's sort of a win as far as...
Regardless of anyone's feelings on electric vehicles, I have to point out that the "mine" picture is actually a copper mine and not a lithium mine (I think in South America if I remember correctly) and that is definitely not an oil sands site. You can look up photos of oil sands sites online...
This. You can save a ton of money because the only rental automatics tend to be larger luxury cars (which can also be a huge pain on some narrow European roads). The last manual I owned was an '07 Ranger (and before that, I only drove manuals). In August of '19 I went to the Azores and got to...
I blame this site for that disappearing. So many people we SO SURE it was a mistake, Ford saw an easy opportunity to make an extra $1800 on the auto. It was a win-win for them. More money, and hardly anyone did anything but briefly complain, claim "I knew it", and continued to place orders.
I'm so looking forward to that beautiful white Wildtrack interior, and I've also heard the 2.7 is going to also come with the manual as an option. Totally stoked.
Hadn't seen this answered yet (but maybe I missed it) - All of these numbers are on the Ford site here under "capacities". This chart shows up on a bunch of Ford dealer websites as well, so I assume it was part of a press release.
That would honestly be the first time I've heard of such things taking out the CANBUS system. The collision avoidance thing also sounds pretty unlikely for a tail light. These systems are all well separated, and generally total system failures from an issue in an unrelated system are... unusual.
There is no way that happened. Maybe there were other things related, but having a broken headlight won't "brick the car". Even filled with water, the only thing that could maybe, possible, perhaps, happen is the battery goes dead from a short.
I'd go with a different model than Badlands and leave the sway bar disco and washout floor for someone else, but it's the black interior that sold me. I really don't like the other interiors, didn't grab an FE reservation, and I'm not going to compromise on a vehicle in this price range. I'm...
Yes, the "GVWR issue" that makes paint protection film and headliner material an "overweight" item, as opposed to supply issues where they're making stuff available for some models and not others. Seriously, there is no "GVWR" issue, aside from the crazy talk that has been all over this forum...
