  2. Shots of the new wheels - Fifteen52 Patrol HD

FIfteen52 Patrol HD 17x8.5 ET0 in Bronze Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T 35x12.5r17 Pretty happy with this combo. I think the Patrol HD with its modern retro styling compliments the design of the Bronco nicely. Fifteen52's bronze color is quite a chameleon, changing shades quite a bit depending...

Thanks! I appreciate the compliment 👍 Agreed, so much to see out west and so much variety too. I grew up in PA and spent the last 10 years in WA and I'm still blown away by how only a few hours of travel can change the landscape dramatically. Hope you make it out to live in Cheyenne someday...

  6. How to manually disconnect the sway bar?

I wanted to add a photo of securing the end links since I hadn't seen one posted before. I manually unbolted and tied up the links in this fashion for a week in Moab. The rubber bushings hold the bar up and out of the way of the axle and there was no contact or interference with anything else-...

Thanks! It certainly was a long drive, but was worth it. Also I think we may have met at the Leavenworth drive in October. Yup we upsized the tires to 34"x11.5" they are Toyo Open Country A/T III sized 285/75/17 load range C. See more info in this thread here: Toyo OC AT3 Black Diamond |...

We didn't do much driving that day either. We hiked to Corona Arch then went up Poison Spider to check it out. We didn't make it too far before the large ledge at one of the switchbacks turned us around (3rd photo). Didn't attempt it due to the mud and low margin for error.
  9. BWI Bronco Stabilizer Bar Disconnect Technical Information

The restaurants were very full on Thanksgiving day, but the trails weren't all week. When we were leaving on Black Friday, it did seem like more people were showing up to spend the long weekend. Then again it was our first time there over the holiday so I don't have any other reference points.

Ha! I did walk around the edge and climb the rock! Where's Waldo?
  12. Moab Trip Photos - Thanksgiving '24

@Robs All of them! We were solo and made a conscious effort to not get in over our heads. I tried to remember that we needed to drive it 1200 miles home 😆 There were also a decent amount of other users out on trails that seemed willing to lend a hand. Fins and Things was a nice starting point...

Love our Bronco! It didn't skip a beat even after 2500 miles round trip, 90mph on the freeway, climbing/descending slickrock, 60mph on dirt roads, and lots of sand and mud 👍 It was so muddy out to Hurrah Pass/Chicken Corners but so, so worth it! Same here! I love the trees of the Northwest but...

You won't be disappointed in Moab. Last year, we flew in on a Thursday and rented a jeep at the airport and stayed at the Red Cliffs Lodge. Offroadeo'd Friday on Dome Plateau, Saturday we visited Arches then ran Potash Rd to Shafer Switchbacks to Dead Horse State Park and Long Canyon, then...

My wife and I road tripped down to Moab from WA State over Thanksgiving and spent 5 amazing days there. This was our first time visiting with our Bronco. and we drove a variety of trails. (Last year we attended the Offroadeo and knew we had to return.) We stayed at the Gonzo Inn downtown and...

  17. Update “Modular” front bumper bolts stuck

Can you grab ahold of the bit or is it pushed in? If you can grab ahold of it you can try to clamp the bit with a bench vise and run the impact gun in the 'tighten' direction for a few hits. That may dislodge the bit from the socket.
  18. Update “Modular” front bumper bolts stuck

Yup. PB Blaster and heat. Spray down any exposed threads and under the bolt head with PB Blaster. Then heat the area around where the bolt threads into with a propane torch until the PB Blaster starts to smoke. Be very careful around any exposed plastic or rubber. Give another shot of PB...
