Hey great job, OP.
I'm still fairly surprised there are ZERO entries into the re-hinge aftermarket, considering how many things have been built to add weight back there. I guess it'll just take some more time, but this is still the best option by a long shot!
The blend doors actually don't increase the flow to the rears, there is about 80% of the path to the rear floor vents blocked by plastic inside the channel by design. If you're absolutely insane like me you can get in there with a grinder and clean it out. ;)
Edit: hopefully this will permanently fix the image issue?
So this is insanely random and...probably more than a bit just 'insane' but I figured it out. By Design, Ford is blocking the downspouts for the Rear Floor Vents (Red Arrows) by about 80-90% by way of an internal flat plastic piece...
comin in out of left field here
it's not the 'keep hands on the wheel' warning is it? my wife kept thinking something was wrong because the original wheel vibration setting was low and it caused her to move the wheel before ever noticing the dash notification. I don't know the minimum speed for...
It's that little bump at the back of the seat - at least it was for my kiddo's seat.
Essentially the set angle of the previous child seat was causing me to have to push the base forward to keep the back/head angle necessary. That robbed us of some seat/leg space. I switched to a Graco Turbo...
*sigh*
Saving me again, Flip?
Thanks!
Dealership parts guy put me on with a service advisor, who also had no idea...both of them told me check the forums, second guy told me "oh, call Ford then I guess". So I called Ford and they ALSO didn't have it.
So here's the thing....I'm 6'10", so I have a size 16 shoe. And that makes hideous normal shoes into hilarious clown shoes....which makes me think that if they come in my size i should definitely buy a pair and doof around town in them
sold, but i'm an idiot and sent them to my old house.... pls hold
Edit: message sent via ebay. Sorry, I haven't used ebay in like 3 years. Will gladly cancel and reorder or PM my address or whatever, just let me know.
There are posts here on how to correct that. There's an HVAC line junction behind the point where the center console and the dash meet. Tons of 4-doors have been delivered with this junction disconnected. You just need to slide the top piece into the bottom piece. fwiw....it's still not much flow.
You'd have to take it off the auto setting and press the manual HVAC selector, but I'm willing to do that for my kiddo's comfort. I'm also looking in to blocking some of the ports on the front footwell so that more flow makes it to the back.
If Mabett is making something that will add vents and...

I live in the hills and mostly take short trips of 5-15 minutes. As soon as I get to stretch the legs a bit that number is a lot more friendly.
Does the manual require the brake to be pressed during startup?
So obviously if not I would attempt with the start button like others have suggested.
But if the brake is also required, you could try gently riding the pedal while releasing the clutch (and start/stop button).
And if there's...
Funny you mentioned the lug nuts, I haven't seen too many others talking about that. I'm also going with black because Sasquatch, but I'm just replacing the lugs because I'm absolutely done dealing with Ford's *doo doo* two-piece lug nuts swelling and being awful.
What about interior lighting...
No :)
But after I finished installing it I gave it a light smack of pride...and one of the cables broke. 25lbs Ford table limit, the others (that I recall) are 50, 75lb. I'd like to be able to put a camp stove on it and cook if I need to, but it looks like I'll be using it for...something...else.
