I have used the Sharpie trick for small chips and blotted it with a cloth and a dab of rubbing alcohol/water mix to knock down the shine. Works well...temporarily...if you're careful.

Torx comes to mind if you can find something that fits. May not be 100% secure but it’ll make it a pain to get off without a torx bit.
