My issue with air suspension is longevity. Road salt destroys suspension components here. In 3 or 4 years it'll probably have issues and it'd be quite expensive to replace I'd imagine.
Heh when I tell folks I'm from NY I have to explain that NYC is the armpit of NY and that there's so much more to the state. I feel your pain. You're near cuse? We oughtta have a NY Bronco gathering at some point.
Mild winters must be nice! We're gonna be back in single digits and teens this weekend, but Monday it hit 45 which is unheard of for February. Everybody was driving around with their windows down. I even saw a couple motorcycles out.
To build on what Chrispy said...oil absolutely matters. Especially with turbocharged engines. Dino/conventional will overheat while cooling turbos. Synthetic MUST be run. You don't need any super fancy drag blend, but running the right weight for your use load is also important.

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not....I'd genuinely like to introduce you to below zero temps, before wind-chill, to see your reaction. I suppose I can't blame ya. How often does it get below freezing in Louisiana?
I'd be more than happy with the 2.7l. Especially with the 10 speed. They'll have the best powertrain offerings by far vs the competition. Toss in a manual and/or a V8 and Ford wouldn't be able to keep up with production.
