Hey Ragnar, thanks for your contributions. Quick question: would you say we still need bass blockers if we were to only replace the 4" speakers? I'm getting mixed responses.

Wasn't it to be expected that the 4ohm model would have had crisper sound and deeper bass though? Not sure why Jim was suggesting the 2ohm model. Maybe someone that tried both could chime in about the difference.

Those on base audio system that tried both the Kickers CS line of 4" speakers, and the Hertz dieci series, would you say the difference is noticeable/worth it to justify the price point difference?

That's great! Is there a way for us to edit the original post in this thread and somehow make a sticky listing the forscan code changes for base system and then a sticky listing the forscan code changes for B&O system? That might help. Would suck if someone mistakenly used forscan line for B&O...

Lots of theory discussions here, but so far it looks like those that managed to have amp and sub work, were on B&O system. The rest are still not sure what forscan lines to use etc.

Do you only need to take off the ride side panel in order to replace the amp and subwoofer? I couldn't find any video on the internet

Maybe the one Jim wrote about only applies to B/O audio vs base ones. Hars to believe amp's faulty, unless it was bought used
