You would have to buy and it and resell it to the new buyer. Only downside is double tax, which is probably much less than any ADM that I saw in SoCal.
I am basically doing the same thing right now.
The standard engine skid will leave about a 1 1/2 inch space between the front plate and engine plate. The Raptor has an extra bracket there and the raptor engine skid looks the same on both sides.
I bought a 3" 1 1/2 x 3" piece of rectangular...
I am in the same predicament. I bought the retainers from Ruxer. The outside retainers were around $6.50 each and the inner ones are $4.50 and $76!
I bought two of the $4.50 inner retainers hoping that between that and what comes off my plastic bumper, I can make something work.
Maybe a...
I downloaded Weather on the way from the Apple App Store. It has radar maps that work on CarPlay. I haven't really played with it yet, but I certainly will not be paying for connected services just to have a cool radar
I had my Wildtrak completely done with System X Max. I had the whole vehicle done, glass, plastic, roof, wheels, etc. What I don't know if it was the same product on the plastic as the paint. I do know that the glass is a different product. I also had the interior done.
In two months, I...
It is the built in nav, settings->weather,->radar. I am not paying for any connected features, but it is possible that I am still in some trial period.
2 months ago walked out of the dealership with 100% loan through Ford Motor Credit. 800+ credit score, almost 8% at 72 months. 3 weeks later, refinanced with my credit union at 4.29%. They would also finance 100%, but I put down 50% and it did not affect the rate.
The also locked my rate for...
So the lights are in and working:
I went from plastic bumper to Raptor bumper and lights. The outside lights are connected to the original H11 foglight connector on the plastic bumper wiring harness and the inside ones are connected to uplifter 1. This is exactly how they are connected on...
I think I was on a lucky streak as nothing since then. My Bronco has strong WIFI at night, but the first and last updates could not have been over my WIFI, unless there is a several day delay between download and install.
So I rewatched parts of the Raptor oil change video and I noticed that there is a part number on the extra bracket that exists only on the Raptor. I can't catch the whole number though. If the part can be ordered, that would be interesting.
Lots of good info in the oil change video. This is the other raised side on the Raptor. Yes, welded onto the frame.
This is the side that is the same on both types:
I have installed the front plate. The back of the Raptor front plate is different from the non-Raptor plates in that both sides are even height rather than one side higher than the other. This is where the issue lies.
I bought an M10 X 60mm bolt to use temporarily. It fits fine, except it is a 13mm head instead of a 15mm. I need a washer and since there is nothing between the skid and the frame, I only hand tighten the bolt. This was just more for it than anything else:
Here is the installed skid from...
