I’d bet it’s chip related. When I was assigned a VIN and notified by my dealer (the owner) that I was scheduled for production, he really made a point to emphasize the impacts of the chip shortage, and that expectations need to include the possibility of my unit being built and sitting.

Seems asinine. Is it possible you haven’t properly escalated the issue? Seems like a reasonable decision maker within the ford org would take care of this bullshit without batting an eye
