Due to high demand, we just completed development transmission cross-member skid plates! We didn't think the diagonal frame supports below the transmission were going to be so vulnerable to damage but they were the first thing to get smashed when we started testing our armor! Not anymore. These...
Hey guys! I’ll see if I can get a 20deg slider installed for some pictures today. Have you seen our pinch seam covers? They definitely make the truck look better but they also protect the pinch seam.
The RCI Black Friday sale is live! If you've been eyeing our complete line of armor and roof racks for your Bronco now is the best time of the year to get it!
We just launched our frame mounted sliders, similar to what we have been producing for the Toyota market for years, perhaps even over engineered for bronco duty ;)
We have a low angle step version seen here and a 20 deg version, both offered with or without tread plates on top.
When comparing to some of the other brands out there it is worth noting that ours is going to be substantially stronger when used with the bolt-on side panels (which are included at no additional cost), not to mention ours being built of 1/4" aluminum. You do not HAVE to use them but it is an...
The side panels ARE included. We recommend using them, particularly if you are putting anything heavy on the rack like a roof top tent. The side panels do in fact add strength to the front portion of the rack but it is still quite strong without them.
Since the light bar would be mounted to the front of the rack, you would have to take it off for removal of the front 5' of the rack. That said you could easily mount a light bar to the front mounts (above the windshield) using one of the many mounting brackets currently available.
Just a heads up but this rack was designed to be able to remove the front three panels of the hard top. Unless you are running a heavy RTT I would recommend running the roof rack without the filler panels which simply fill in the front space and add rigidity under heavy load.
:p hahah yes we were planning just to get some pictures and then turned into a mission to smash the rails and skid plates. It was was a bumpy ride to say the least at 35psi!
Yes the front three panels are easily removed with the rack in place. I will try to get some pictures of the rack today configured for removal of the roof.
