I'm not sure what the fad is with making your Bronco lighting look like it's a 2 ton dually. Weak amber lights that don't really help the driver see down the road don't do much for me.
Not a bad price. I have 5 16x7 base Bronco wheels, though, with the 29" Duelers still mounted. And I weld. I see a custom trailer build in my future. Can I do it for less than $1,800? Yeah, probably. The metal would be about $500, and I'd use composite decking instead of wood for the bed...
Yeah, I recently have bought some 2 piece surf rods and in a 2 door Bronco, they still have to rest on the console. And I don't want to drive 3 hours with the rear window open.
Then, when I go to the metal guy and buy some 3" square tube and have to buy 20' sticks cut in half, there's no way...
LOL. Paint department at car manufacturers are all color blind. "Pewter" on my 2002 GMC was tan, and didn't resemble pewter in any sense of the word.
The Eddie Bauer colors always reminded me of floral wallpaper from the 80s.
Heated rear seats in a 2 door? How about an easily removable bench seat. But yeah, throw some thick, actual leather with heavy duty stitching on there and I'd buy one used for $45,000, lol. The leather on my F150 is paper thin and wore out faster than a Bounty paper towel.
Agreed. And another reason I left the big city as fast as I could! My hobbies really demand a truck, but I bought a 2 door Bronco anyway and my son will be leaving the house with my F150 in a couple of years. So who knows, lol. Hard to haul 10' sticks of hard maple or 4x8 sheets of steel in...
I will never use mine for off roading for the sake of off roading. Beach, yes. Hunting leases with occasionally washed out roads, yes. There's nothing wrong with just owning a cool car because it's cool. I also would buy a 68' Corvette if I had the funds, but it wouldn't be to race it at the...
I want to say I am going to keep this Bronco always. I like it a lot. More than any other "new to me" vehicle I've owned. There's a part of me that was on the fence about buying an older truck or car (pre 80's) this time around just because of all the integrated complexity that I don't...
It's fun to make fun of this, but the King Ranch interiors were really nice. I would never have bought one, but there's lots of people who have lots more money than I do, and I don't think badly of them for spending their money on nice vehicles.
Gearing and sports mode make for a peppy little vehicle. But I have the 7 speed. If I wanted to spin the tires or race, I would have bought a sports car.
