Hmm... I've changed my sister's Jeep tire before with the included scissor jack and it was fine. That was with 33" tires and it did take a while. A 35" might make the optional Recovery Kit or AAA something to think about. But yes, it will come with a jack and probably just the standard version...
It’s fine if you know what you’re getting into. It’s not a ballooning interest loan (a la housing crisis) but it’s structured to keep costs low in the first three years. I can see someone who is expecting a raise or keeping the car forever taking advantage of it. But if you like to trade your...
This is obviously a pre-prod vehicle. I don't think anyone will be receiving a Bronco like this. It is normal to drive it aggressively with temporary seats, tech, etc. It's all about simulating the weight to stress test everything and artificially create wear & tear. I worked at a very large...
Yeah, I am glad I did not reserve through them. The trouble is I think they're getting a lot of reservations. This Texas dealer is running ads on digital and billboards claiming to be THE Bronco dealer. So they will have hundreds of reservations by December. After I called I got contacted three...
There’s one dealer near me that offers invoice and X-Plan and I appreciate that they actually have any info on the price at all. The other six dealers are waiting until B&P or November to announce deals. One has near 200+ reservations and the salesman says that almost no one has asked about...
I read somewhere on this forum that Ford Bronco logistics is going to be closer to the Tesla ordering/fulfilling model. There’s actually a cost savings to one dealer having a ton of reservations and one location to deliver to. It’s 2020 and with the internet, it’s harder to hide ADM one county...
I always loved the Blazer in JAWS, but the Chevy re-design has morphed the current iteration into something unrecognizable. The Bronco is such a savvy bold take on old off-road and modern features that it's honestly a near perfect blend.
I'm more concerned about dealers than I am about B&P being available quickly. Not sure what the guidelines are, but as of now I don't see much of a downside for a salesman to try and keep new Broncos on the lot so they can sell them to "lucky" customers without reservations. It seems like the...
I agree with the notion of impulse and wait playing a huge factor. A friend and I reserved at the same time. He has already canceled his after spending weeks thinking about how he couldn’t test drive the Bronco before ordering. It was a huge deal to him.
I kept mine. He says he’ll buy one if...
4 DR. Love the two and have had coupes before. But, we have to transport some older family members sometimes and climbing in and out of the back is tough. Plus, I assume there’s more cargo room and that’s always good.
It will all come down to who you “resell” it to. A dealership will pay more for safety/tech features and curb appeal because they can sell that to most customers. An off-roader will pay for lockers and suspension.
Very true! I’ve seen rebate values effectively erased by bad interest rates. 0% can equal thousands in savings over time. You need to really be on the lookout for both for a smart deal.
