Had my soft top and the above comment nailed my experience with the soft top. It's loud at highway speeds and on top of that you really notice crosswind noises, 18 wheelers, loud motorcycles. This is my 2 cents after 12k miles. Side note if anyone looking to sell their MIC sees this disregard...

I have a 4 door soft top EG Sas Black Diamond. To get the truck faster I ditched the MIC and went soft and it is the only thing I regret about the truck. It isn't bad at all but it isn't what I actually wanted. Wait for what you really want, patience pays off.

Amazing looking trip. I drove my from Granger Iowa to SFO but unfortunately in a rush. I might be moving to Florida in the future and so I'll be making a roadtrip out of it. I will absolutely be thinking about the route you took.

Maaaaaaan I am in the San Francisco Bay Area and would jump on this if I knew what the hell to do with my soft top. There's no real market for one. 800 mile roadtrip sounds fun to me. GLWS!
