  1. Is it reasonable to ask for and get 5% off MSRP on a '26 Big Bend on the dealer lot?

These types of threads make me soooooo happy to not be selling Fords anymore. God forbid a retailer actually make a profit on the products they sell. When it comes to this brand, I would much rather be a customer. On a $66k MSRP Bronco, the dealer has about a $2500 spread between MSRP and...
  2. Is it reasonable to ask for and get 5% off MSRP on a '26 Big Bend on the dealer lot?

Sure. Just contact Granger. They make a living from dropping their pants and giving away their inventory before it even arrives at the store. :ROFLMAO: They advertise 2% or 3% below invoice (even on orders) on every Ford forum in existence. I don't see why they wouldn't do the same on these...
  3. Lincoln To Get Bronco-Based Range Rover-Fighter

You know what's worse that the few choices of colors? The fender flares on the Octa are held on with double-sided tape and a few plastic clips. Half of the ones we've sold are back within a few months because the flares are coming loose. That's what $180k gets you.....taped on fender flares. 🙄...
  4. Lincoln To Get Bronco-Based Range Rover-Fighter

I'll sell you one. 🤣 Coincidentally, I just got an AI notification on my phone talking about this subject. According to AI's market analysis, it's expected to start at $100k. I know this means nothing, but that's what I expected based on who they want to compete with.
  5. Lincoln To Get Bronco-Based Range Rover-Fighter

In my store, we have done very well selling the Octas that have been allocated to our store. The fact that we are in Miami is a big help. With an average MSRP of about $180k, the Octa is out of the price point of most buyers. The best selling Defenders are the ones that have a price point...
  6. Lincoln To Get Bronco-Based Range Rover-Fighter

I agree with you that the starting price of the Defender with the 300hp 2.0L turbo is right around $65k. However, by saying they also want it to compete with the G-Wagon that starts at $150k, I am assuming they are going after the higher trim Defenders. With the understanding that this is all...
  7. Lincoln To Get Bronco-Based Range Rover-Fighter

I've owned 14 Fords and one Lincoln. I'm a blue-blooded Ford guy through and through, but currently work in sales at a Jaguar/Land Rover dealer. A loaded Bronco Raptor will run you well over $90k, so how much is the Lincoln version going to cost? I'm sorry, but for $100k+, I'm taking a 5.0L...
  8. Front camera working intermittently

Yea, send it over. I'll check it out tomorrow. Need details on what actually happened. Without them being able to replicate the issue or see a code that's active, they can't do anything. That much is 100% true.
  9. 2025 Full Digital Cluster successfully installed - swapped into 2022 Wildtrak

Did you get over this hump? When you plug into FORScan and it asks if you want to load the existing profile, select no so it does a fresh scan.
  10. 2025 Full Digital Cluster successfully installed - swapped into 2022 Wildtrak

Not sure if this has been posted or not, but hopefully it helps. Attaching the SRS depowering instructions referenced in the workshop manual jic; may not be necessary.
  11. Not receiving ota updates anymore

The people that answer the phones when you call Ford read from a script and are clueless. They 100% can see what modules have pending updates, but they often do not know how to use the resources they have in front of them. Unfortunately, due to some recent cybersecurity changes that Ford made...
  12. Not receiving ota updates anymore

It doesn't necessarily mean that something is going on. The OTA process for Ford and all legacy manufacturers is inconsistent, unpredictable and unreliable. Sync 23353 is two versions behind the latest available Sync.
  13. Not receiving ota updates anymore

Low battery voltage will not prevent updates from being sent, but it can prevent them from installing if one is sent. Particularly the ones that require the vehicle to be inhibited while they install.
  14. Look what I made..

I'll never understand the ducks on the dash bit, but to each their own.
  15. OASIS REPORT

    You beat me to it.
  16. 2025 Full Digital Cluster successfully installed - swapped into 2022 Wildtrak

It is very possible and likely that mileage is stored on more than one module. On these newer connected vehicles, mileage is reported to the cloud every time the vehicle is started and this info is stored in Ford's cloud permanently.
  17. Not receiving ota updates anymore

That would annoy the hell out of me. I assume this is a Bronco or vehicle specific issue, because I've never had that happen to my F150 or our Bronco Sport which are both on Sync 4. Maybe there's some way to turn it off with FORScan, but I don't know of a way. Wish I could be more of help, but...
  18. Not receiving ota updates anymore

There are certain things I can see with the VIN in PTS, but I am not sure I fully understand your issue. What do you mean by "safety pause?
  19. Can’t calibrate cameras on Badlands with 37s and lifted

You can try calibrating it yourself with FORScan. It will ask you to enter the height of the wheel arches before calibrating them. FDRS also asks to enter the wheel heigh arches, but it will specifically tell you to NOT do that and if the vehicle is lifted, that you must return it to stock...
