I have the exact same dates. You would think they would want to get the 21s out of there and into the hands of the customers. I’m just waiting for my, now end of March, EDD date to get pushed out again.

We will see. Good luck to all of us that end up getting pushed to 2023. I’d expect a big price increase going into 2023.

It’s not an “or” it’s both having a reservation and an order before 3/19/2021. Someone could have placed a walk-in order before 3/19/2021 without a reservation and they would not be price protected either.

Once the vehicle is invoiced to the dealer they usually put on their web site. Drawers in perspective customers.

I’ve been in production since 12/10. Initial delivery estimate was 12/26. Now it’s 3/25. Currently under microchip hold. Seems like Ford is moving out delivery dates 3 months for most of us.

Agree. If they are a representative of Ford they should be working with their Commnication team before they post on any forum.

Ford has to get their story together and a message out that will not spoke WallStreet. It's coming before 1st qtr. earnings I'd bet. I'm sure it will say orders up due to new innovative products that customers want, F-150 Lightning, Maverick, Raptor, etc., and sales are down due to supply chain...

EDD moved from 2/2 to 3/25. Wouldn’t bet on this date holding. This is a major issue and at some point Ford is going to have to come clean.

Put some music to this and you may have a new country music hit.

Probably the best we can hope for as far as getting production photos.

Anyone have an insight or contacts that can advise when chips may be available to start retrofitting the "still in production 21s"? We have been setting at MAP for 2 months and based on what I have been reading being used for beer and pizza runs. I have no faith in the trackers, Ford CS...

It’s all about keeping the production line going. That gets priority over back fitting our 21s.

A lot of the 12/6 Build Week OBX and WT's are being told by Ford CS, or our dealers that we are under Microchip hold, however we should see movement in two weeks. Hopefully they are not BS'ing us and we will start to see BUILD notifications in a few weeks. We will see......

We need to spin off a new Forum. “2021 Microchip Hold Group”.

Just received an email from dealer confirming my build is on microchip hold. He was not able to provide when this hold is projected to be released for the impacted 2021s or any EDD updates.
