  1. *** DIRT MOUNTAIN Broncos - Built, Shipped, Delivered Tracker***

Got my built email last week and now the tracker is showing shipped (no email indicating shipped but the tracker updated yesterday) I submitted the edit for my built email but it’s not showing on the tracker here
  2. *** DIRT MOUNTAIN Broncos - Built, Shipped, Delivered Tracker***

I’m a 7/15 blend in Phoenix. I’ve heard nothing. I did get to drive a bronco for 45 minutes off road with an instructor today. So that was fun and at least got me excited again. I just want this freaking thing to start moving already.
  3. Bronco Black Diamond 10k Dealer Markup

Will they? There’s a worldwide car shortage which is going to last another 18+ months. The bronco isn’t the only car selling with markups. I have a friend who just ordered a Telluride and it has a $6k markup on it and a 6 month wait. dealer markups on freaking Kias. While im not about to...
  4. Wife not impressed - dream may be dead

just keep them both lol I’m in for the quite the adjustment. I sold my 2014 Touareg back in April thinking my Bronco would arrive by end of summer. It’s stuck on dirt mountain. I’ve been daily driving my cayman which couldn’t be more of an opposite vehicle to the bronco lol it’s tiny, handles...
  5. Austin Area OB For Sale

ADM is insane on these things. However, I have a buddy buying a Kia Telluride right now. He went to 3 different Kia dealers: 1 was $3k ADM, one was $7k ADM, and one was $9k. He ordered with the $3k dealer but has a 5-7 month wait. the dealers with the higher ADMs has every Telluride they...
  6. Order Preview = Actually Ordered?

I actually think Ford’s site was down for everyone at one point on Monday. There were posts on the forum of people saying their cars and vins were no longer showing up. There were memes running around this site joking that Ford just cancelled the whole thing since they can’t actually build the...
  7. How Sacred is an Issued VIN?

Eh I’d rather not have a VIN at this point. That way I could adjust my build and get the 2022 options. At this point, we’ll be taking delivery of these 2021 MYs at the very end of the year if not in early 2022
  8. UPDATED & Confirmed --Dealership confirms FMC wont release my Bronco to them from local railyard and will ship it back to MAP because of MIC.

Yup and that’s assuming there are no delays. I believe Ford is also just starting to receive the replacements in October. replace all of the delivered tops first, then onto the bad batch. there are gonna be a lot of bad batch deliveries right at year end or into 2022
  9. UPDATED & Confirmed --Dealership confirms FMC wont release my Bronco to them from local railyard and will ship it back to MAP because of MIC.

So they confirmed the initial new hardtops will begin to be ready in October. So let's conservatively say they are ready for the week of Oct 11. All of the first ones are going to customer delivered Broncos before the bad batches right? So let's now think bad batch hardtops are starting...
  10. UPDATED & Confirmed --Dealership confirms FMC wont release my Bronco to them from local railyard and will ship it back to MAP because of MIC.

Did Ford ever say October? The way I read the email was that in September for some and October for others, Ford will communicate timing. None of it reads to me like they will have new tops ready for the Bad Batch Broncos in September or October. I kind of think this is gonna go the way of at...
  11. #Badbatchbroncos who is sticking with it?

I doubt I take delivery of this thing. I kind of have car ADD anyway and this thing has lost my attention. I have no excitement for it. I literally just don’t care anymore. I have a few week trip coming up and I’ll figure out what I’m doing after that. this was going to be my first Ford...
  12. Cost to replace roofs is “Not Material” per Ford spokesman.

Materiality is a relative term when speaking on financial statements and earnings. It could be a $100m threshold for a company like Ford. Resolving the MIC issue will be expensive, no doubt. But $20m (I have no idea how much this will cost just using an example number) is not even a...
  13. 📣 Ford announces MIC hardtop solution (program 21B49): unscheduled orders will get MY2022, delivered & built Broncos will have tops replaced

This sounds to me like the dirt mountain broncos are going be MY21 cars delivered in early 2022. And theres nothing the reservation holders can do. Can't flip to MY22, can't change their current config. Just stuck taking on a full MSRP MY21 vehicle in early 2022. What's going to be...
  14. Painful (but responsible) solution to MIC issue decided. Announcement imminent.

It’s beginning to feel like my first Ford is also the Ford I’ll never actually buy. oh well. Guess we’ll see what happens. Worst case I will just go buy a car from a manufacturer with their shit together.
  15. My Truck Dealer is Better Than Yours!!

God my dealer is basically a ghost. He’ll call me back… when he gets around to it in a few days/weeks/months
  16. Production Purgatory Top Poll

I’m quickly moving on to option 3… which is not taking delivery and buying something from a company which has their shit together. In the month since mine was built, my excitement has pretty much left disappeared. I’m really just annoyed at this point and feel like when it actually gets here...
  17. Here starts the dealer games

God they need to change legislation so we don’t have to deal with dealerships anymore
  18. 7/15 Blend Date Folks

Same status for me and I'm 5620. I did notice the date on the bottom of my window sticker updated to 07/16/2021 this morning (it was 07/09/2021 previously). Not sure what specifically updated on the sticker though
  19. 7/15 Blend Date Folks

I’m in the same boat as you… but I guess we know that. If there’s any damage on the rear bumper, I’ll send you a bill lol
