  1. BRONCO 2DR 2021-2023 OE ROOF RACK - Broken "Claws"

After a bit of conversation, my local dealer is going to, nicely place a new order. When it comes in, I will swap the rails only (no need to return everything - that'd be a waste of and egregious use of resources). I guess the lesson here is DO NOT DISPOSE OF YOUR FORD ACCESSORIES SHIPPING...
  2. BRONCO 2DR 2021-2023 OE ROOF RACK - Broken "Claws"

Description: BRONCO 2DR 2021-2023 OE ROOF RACK Part Number: M2DZ9955100AA Problem: Both roof rail “claws” (the portion that connects above the windshield) are cracked on the inside. These arrived this way OOTB (out of the box). Called Ford Accessories. They said I have to send the WHOLE unit...
  3. 2023 Wildtrak w/ HOSS 3.0 review + comparison to Bilstein suspension

I agree. The new bronco, though, was designed to get millennials interested in the brand, not just the old / existing bronco segment, so he’s doing his part to cater to that audience. I’m a tail end gen x’er.
  4. 🛠 1/3/22 Build Week Group

I could have sworn, just doing Off-Rodeo last Friday, that steps 2 and 3 were reversed.
  5. 2023 Wildtrak w/ HOSS 3.0 review + comparison to Bilstein suspension

I see now. It’s a plastic shroud over the unit. When new and clean it looked like a metal skid plate of sorts.

Does yours have the bash guards under the rear shocks? Here's a snippet from my sticker:

  8. How AWD works (Includes Ford's 4A system)

Not to belabor this thread and the point of 4A and all the other thread herein and on other sites … Bronco Manual Advanced 4x4 With Automatic On Demand Engagement (If Equipped) This system monitors various vehicle sensory inputs to provide an increased level of performance. This system offers...
  9. How AWD works (Includes Ford's 4A system)

Thanks. I read some F-150 forums on “4A” which said “no faster than 15 MPH” which, frankly, seems like a typo and should have said “4H”. Right? From the massive JalopNick article reference here, which is a great read, it seems that the Bronco’s 4A is “On-Demand Active AWD — Transfer...
  10. How AWD works (Includes Ford's 4A system)

I grew up with the full sized chevy blazer K5 in the 70s. If you wanted 4WD, you stopped the vehicle, put it into 4W mode, got out and turn the hubs on the wheels, and got back in. Your push-button 4WD is akin to this. But I’m not convinced the new Bronco’s 4A button is akin to not having to...
  11. Break-in period?

oil change 1K? I'm thinking I will, but haven't decided. Thanks for the insight.
  12. Break-in period?

My two cents -- break-in is your decision. I was, and still am, active in the Camaro5 forums and when the 11/12/2013 product group were all waiting for our 1LE's to be built, the same conversation and recommendations ensued: "Break it in" "Don't break it in" "Drive it like you stole it" Those...
  13. Break-in period?

The post above is from 2020. FWIW, in the June 2022 owner's guide it's revised now to say this:
  14. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Bartact's Accessory Door Bags BIG pocket. Added sunglass case. Attach house keys. Love the MOLLE. Retains the original mesh pocket too.
  15. High VS Lux and B&O

What happens to the BO system over time? To my ears it sounds good and I’m no audio slouch. I’m rocking B&W 702S at home with a Rel subwoofer so audio does matter. Interestingly on the Bronco w/Lux package, I’ve enabled Dolby surround for regular audio playback and I kinda like it.
  16. NORMAL G.O.A.T. Mode — 4A, 4H or 2H?

Check this out, from another poster: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/posts/1454974/
  17. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Great idea (Bronco stick bags). I’m In! Ha. Maybe it‘s an open loop on the passenger side the butt end of the sticks can pass through with the blades hung over the right-rear seat. I have a bag of pucks and cones (I also coach) back there too and it all just fits.
  18. NORMAL G.O.A.T. Mode — 4A, 4H or 2H?

Doesn’t it ask you each time you start up the rig if you want to keep the same mode as before? I’ll go test this and see what the default answer is when you don’t respond.
  19. NORMAL G.O.A.T. Mode — 4A, 4H or 2H?

Turns out if you depart from another GOAT mode that uses 4A (eg: Slippery, Sport, Sand) and go to Normal, it’ll stay in 4A. In other words, just selecting Normal does not guarantee 2H. Sometimes you’ll have to manually choose 2H if you were in a previous GOAT mode that uses 4A.
