To confirm both points, the finicky intercom system in the club Citabria pretty much requires you to use a matched pair of beat up david clarks for both seats to be able to talk to each other and use the radio. My ears are ringing after an hour in there. Sooooo loud.

Discussed this with Redline a while back, DCT fluid is closer in viscosity to an ATF, but with the antiwear additives like an MTF. A DCT is pretty much two manual transmissions in parallel, anyways. Speccing out DCTF in a manual trans happens a lot, it's what is in the GS6-45BZ manual in my M235i.
