Don't get too caught up in the advertisement. KTMs say "ready to race" but not a single KTM comes with suspension set for my weight. Still fantastic bikes. And yeah its always the boring sections thatll get ya.

I doubt ford is making shock armor. Usually factory skid plates protect the transmission, transfer case, front crossmember, and fuel tank. Someone will make guards that bolt to the axle and protect those shocks. Expect it to be in the $150-$250 range.

Driveshaft and front suspension will be fine. But yeah those shock reservoirs are gonna need some armor. I'm sure the aftermarket will be on that quick.

Alternators can be submerged. Its not ideal, but really its not ideal to submerge any part in muddy water.

Warranty covers manufacturing defects, driving it off a cliff is an owner problem.

Dumbass, I literally said "Im keeping my reservation for now" I won't be getting a MY21 anyways so I got time to weigh my options.

Except for MY21 the auto is required for the sas package. So I (and others) assumed we could deduct the price of the automatic for when the MY22 comes out. Advanced transfer case I assumed came with the sas package. Whats next? Lockers are an additional add on? Switches for the lockers...

I haven't seen anything but I'd assume it matches the ranger. Hub centered is important to me so hopefully the aftermarket agrees with me.

Oh I know, I always check with everything I buy. But that's good to point out, we probably ought to get a list going of wheel manufacturers. Where they're made, how they're made (forged, cast), cost, and reviews.

More reason to go aftermarket.
