If they only offered the 4-dr, Iād still be driving my Jeep.
The 4-dr seems to lack any character whatsoever, plus everybody has one, and itās not a real Bronco.
You wonāt hear anything either. I had to start calling and getting a bit direct and uncomfortable with themā¦. But after over 3 weeks, I finally got them, along with a few rock chips that I got good practice at repairing.
I canāt believe guys are worried about āsqueaksā and ārattlesā in an off-road vehicle.
I mean, to be a prisoner to that sort of obsessive behavior has got to be a difficult way to live and enjoy life.
If you like a knobby mud tire with a little extra road noise thatāll last you forever, Iād go with the BFG KM/2. Iām sure the newer KM/3 is more of the sameā¦
My last set of KM/2ās lasted over 80k miles. I only replaced them because they were starting to dry-rot; still had plenty of tread left.
Update: I did just get confirmation that itās only the afternoon shift thatās off. I apologize. The person who told me originally said āplant shutdownā, so itās a misunderstanding. Still pretty significant though, as production is roughly cut in half.

Yeah, if youāre already saying youāre not going to hardcore rock crawl all that much, Iād just stick with the BD.
Donāt F this whole thing up further over a FSB Discoā¦. Whatās the point of that?
I have a 2-dr BD, Sas, 2.3, auto, roof rack, and mod. bumper in COā¦. I ordered with my dealer in Oct. ā21 and received it in Apr. ā22.
I was told it could be a year or longer, especially because it was a 2-dr. (though I believed that aspect would work in my favor, but whatever). I only...
They do help... Iāve had them on for a couple hundred miles, but I still hear the occasional rock hitting the body. You probably need to go full-on hillbilly and get the XLās if you want near 100% coverage.
I only have the fronts because I want to be able to kick-up rocks from the rears...
It does entice SOME people to inflict damage.
SOME people are jealous, or mentally-ill, or down on their luck, or just plain angry, so yes, they can be triggered to inflict damage upon your vehicle for taking-up 2 spaces.
Youād have to be a bit naive not to understand this. These people are...
