I'm heading down the the Outer Banks in August with my family of 5. (2 kids & a 90lb dog) I'm trying to figure out how to get everyone and all our luggage down.
If I had a hardtop I'd have roof racks and I'd throw my Thule box up there and all the luggage in that. But since I have a soft top...
I (sorta) need this! For a hardtop though. I have a bit of a pickle, and a hardtop would get me out of it. If I could rent a hardtop for a week, it would solve a lot of my issues.
I saw the solar eclipse in Aug 2017 at Cades Cove. Amazing area. Saw some bears too. :)
but I stayed in the safety of my car. Cannot understand for the life of me why anyone would play that game.
is there's some kinda saying? Brown Bears, play dead. Black bears are smaller, so you can TRY to...
Lucky you.
I guess bc of the angle of my driveway every time I back out it goes off. I guess the bumper gets too close to the road? Anyway, it now has desensitized me, so I ignore it.
Poor neighborhood Bobby on his bike one day is gonna get got bc my bronco likes to alert me for no reason. 😂
Thx! I may give this a try. Now that it's getting warm out again, I have my windows open more, and it's pretty annoying.
Just to clarify, was it like a high pitched whistle? Mine is more of a wind passing over a gap noise. Almost like if you were blowing over the top of a beer bottle. It's on...
I have see deer running in the opposite direction when I drive by lately... I just figured it was because they saw a sasquatch coming. ;)
haha.
That is the optimistic take on this. I'll mention it to my dealer when I take it in for first service. It's annoying AF, but not enough for me to...
I remember seeing this.
But mine was not built before June 2021. (I mean, whose was?) And it's still doing it.
I kinda forgot about it over the winter, but now that it's getting nicer out again, I have my windows open more, and it's annoying AF.
speaking of music.
so has anyone fixed the whistling mirror? now with the weather getting nice, my windows are open more, and the mirror whistle is annoying AF.
Or we just supposed to be cool with listening to that?
Thanks. Although, I'm fairly confident after some troubleshooting that it's not the lights, and is definitely the bracket. It, unfortunately, wasn't designed to account for the slanted fog pocket. I'd imagine everyone with my same set up will have the same exact issues. Maybe others just don't...
