Got mine for $654 at paulsautomotiveengineering.com but they don't keep them in stock, when you purchase them you have to wait a few days for them to get it from Ford Performance and then ship it to you.
I place my order last Friday and still haven shipped to me.
Weird you had issues with the wiring length, maybe the Bronco Raptor added width has something to do with your issues?
I understand your pain installing them since I went through the same issues. For me it was even harder when my knucklehead decided to Get Flax era 3 dual mode for Fogs since KC...
Yes, they are completely flat, they are meant more like a molle attachment so you can add your own bags and stuff. Since they have no bolts at the top I guess you could slice some papers between the panel and the door but not really mean to be used as a storage area.
Another vote for Bartac.
They bolt on to your door using the same mounting holes as the OEM net and yes, they might look bulky but since they are flexible if you rest your leg against them they are comfortable. Plus, did I mentioned they are big? You can really store a good amount of stuff in...
My hardtop had some cracks, mainly hairline cracks but cracks nonetheless. Ford replaced it for me under warranty and I picked up today after installation. let's se if this one lasts.
Thanks!. I'll be watching closely since I'm looking into getting some mods myself. Probably won't end getting a custom tune so I won't see your numbers but maybe Procal + intercooler + catted downpipe on 91/93 gas will be my route
If the tune is nstalled by a ASE certified tech/dealer, Ford Performance gives you a 3-yr/36,000 miles warranty that covers any powertrain damage that can be linked to the tune itself. If you are worried about Engine warranty issues get the Tune and have it installed by your Ford servicing...
Kit istalled. Got exactly 1 inch of lift. My Bronco measured 40 inches in the rear and 38.5 in the front. (from the floor to the edge of the sas fender) now im 39.5 in he front for just 0.5 inches of "rake"
Can you share pictures of them installed? Their site has some but I'm still not convinced. If current owners of them can share your feedback I will appreciate it.
Thanks
+1 for Bartact.
IMO no other Door pocket for the bronco comes even close to them.
Right now I have in one of them 2 Cobra walkie talkies, a bottle of perfume, a large bottle of pills, A Leatherman sidekick, a small folding knife and it still have space for more stuff.
THIS
The 6g has them molded in also, fender corners are higher than hood. A design element that served no purpose in 1966 or now, but it helps give the 6g a definite tie in to 1g. The trail sites themselves certainly do not serve as "trail sights", from the drivers perspective both just...
I Think Broncos do look weird without Trail sights but if you have no purpose for them I cant blame you for removing them.
In my case I do have a purpose for them:
I went with 1 in the front, because Down the road I'm still considering jumping to 37's once my current tires wear off. When that time comes is just matter of moving the 1 inch collar to the back, install a 2 or 2.25 perch collar in the front and do the JKS tire clearance mod.
I kept undecided for a while and ended buying nothing until last monday that I placed my order for the Broncbuster perch collars.
I'm still waiting for them to be delivered and installed but I'll post an update once that happens.
