There's a lot of constraints to gear ratios besides what's "optimal." For 1, what's optimal for you may not be optimal for me.
Also please stop parroting the idea that deeper gears means a lower top speed. In practice, vehicles run out of power before gearing. Wind resistance and friction grows...
Im sure there will be tons of options from thingiverse.com to big names in the 4x4 world.
I need to reach out to Ford to get dimmensions so I can work on an idea. (If anyone knows who to contact I'd appreciate it.)
Id run a relay to power the compressor anytime the ignition is in the on position. Being the bronco is push button and I haven't seen any of the wiring, idk how I'd go about that yet.
But yes you could use the switches.
2 or 3" body lift pucks, custom bumpers or brackets to lift the factory ones up to match. Shouldn't be that expensive.
Will probably need a steering shaft extension made, and maybe wiring harnesses moved. Will need to make new hoses or drop brackets for radiator and so forth in engine bay...
Lol he said NIO and PLUG aren't very good investments. I strongly disagree. No where did I say penny stocks always bring a return like that, or a return whats so ever.
Options are fun but premiums are ridiculous right now and have been for a minute so Im staying out of the options game for now.
If 100+% returns aren't a good investment then idk what it is. Im just saying, people can make money with $500. Bonds and ETFs are great, they sure are boring though.
I did the 2k under invoice deal granger has because I know its a set price and I can avoid the haggling BS. If I hadn't come across that deal, I'd probably be haggling for something around invoice, maybe a little over since the bronco isn't exactly gonna be sitting on dealer lots.
You aint got enough options. I hate the process, but have no problem doing so. I've walked out before, I'll do it again. I do the research to know what I want to pay and won't pay more than that.
They require more force to stop. I guaranafuckingtee the brakes on a base bronco will lock up the sas tires. You can't stop any faster than the tires have traction for.
Now will fading and warped rotors be a bigger issue for sas broncos. Yeah. But these ain't race cars, don't drive it like one...
3.73 means the driveshaft spins 3.73 rotations for 1 rotation of the tires. 4.27 is well, 4.27 rotations.
Get the rear locker.
Ratio is up to you. 3.73 will get better gas mileage, 4.27 will have more punch and might get more life out of the transmission. Top speed is gonna be limited by the...
