Ford Edge, 2012. I’ll miss $50,000 when I trade it in. I’ll miss not having a car payment.
I’ll miss, “eh, who cares” when something spills inside. I’ll miss parking it on the street (when possible) because the Bronco is going to *live* inside my parking ramp.
Like me in the early 1980s, the...
I’ve been making-do with a 14 inch laptop screen for almost a full year. Yeah, it sucks, but it’s better than going into Manhattan right now.
use Windows button plus left/right arrow to dock the active window against the side of your screen, and when everything else gets small click the one you...
We didn’t need cup holders back then because we chugged our beer cans in one fast motion and then threw the cans out the windows.
we didn’t bother with people holders, either. It was quite common to fins that the seatbelts were buried deep into the crevice between the seat bottom and the seat...
Woot - shout out to Buffalo. Only the strong survive. And the city of good neighbors indeed!
Be nice to your neighbor in June, because in January you’ll be needing his help to push your car out of a snow bank. :-)
Have a Super Mighty and a beef on weck for me. I’m too dang far away.
Cupholder for a forklift? Yeah, we got that covered. Be great if we could get one in the back seat of a 4 door Bronco. ;-)

there are plenty of MOLLE water bottle holders that won’t cause too much trouble but a cup holder worthy of a paper cup and lid - not so much.
I’m sure the aftermarket will make something like this ...
I know, some of the snark replies are made in jest, but OP is right ... it’s a very stupid move by Ford’s designers that there aren’t back seat cup holders in the 4D unless you have leather.
FFS, it’s 2021. Cup holders in an American car aren’t exactly nouveau technology. Especially considering...
I learned a bad lesson using my Yeti for the first time in the wild. Ice melts. I know - earth shattering news right? But I wound up having everything swimming in ice water that was contaminated by a box of raw hamburger patties.
Yeah, I’m not the smartest guy.
Use sealed ice packs in that...
I have an October reservation so I clearly expect to have a late delivery. I’d be chuffed to nuts if I got a 2021 delivery. But I knew that when I delayed my Rez - wanted to let the bugs work through the system first.
Today I finally sent my builds to my dealer. Two options, a Black Diamond 4D...
Expectation: drive this thing from the Arctic Circle to Tierra Del Fuego. 24 months of overlanding - the adventure of a lifetime!
Reality: Garden State Plaza to Giant Stadium. F-it. Too much damned traffic. Time to go home and watch the Yankees game.
i try to pick my vacations for places that work cannot follow me. Back when I got married it was easy. But now .... now everywhere is within reach. That’s great - until it ain’t.
You guys on the left hand side of the map get to have all the fun. It’s getting almost impossible to escape cell service in the east nowadays.
I understand the service gap in the Adirondacks, but why is there a massive hole between WVa and VA?
I hope to eventually add GMRS and Ham radio. But first I need to acquire the Bronco and prove to She Who Must Be Appeased that I’ll actually*use* it off road and on big road trips. - with other people in areas without cell service.
