I preordered about three weeks ago.
Both of our current cars are paid off.
My wife is due for a car early next year, and we're looking at a Model Y for her. Again this depends if she's going to be commuting again. If she gets a new car, then I'll take her Prius.
I'm hoping to be in a Bronco...
I have my mirrors set correctly.
It has to do with those times when you're tired or someone is speeding.
That little light doesn't absolve you from turning your head, but it helps.
Death Valley.
It's just a base model, but with no antifreeze in the radiator and no top. The dealer throws in a bottle of non-distilled water for you and sunscreen.
I like the idea of a soft top in general. I really enjoyed the soft top cars I had.
I like the ease and modular nature of the soft top, but I wish the plastic windows were glass.
But I don't like the lack of security of the soft top. Especially over the trunk area.
I would like a hard top...
Back up alert is a godsend. And so is blind spot monitoring. They are game changers.
The lane keep assist can be annoying. or just not work.
I'm not totally upset but it is unfortunate that they aren't standard like a lot of vehicles.
The only status symbol /envy I'll get is if I'm parked next to a Sasquatched Bronco.
It's going to make my 32/33's seem puny and my manhood can't handle that.
The thing is, the 2.7 and the 2.3 aren't that far apart in terms of performance for me to really whine that the manual is only available on the 2.3.

I think you're right.
My initial thought was WOW Carbonized Grey looks good...
Then I saw some posts calling it Iconic Silver, then I was like hrmmm, it does look a little light.
Then I pulled up the same pics as you and I was like, nah that has to be Carbonized Grey.
S2000 had two similar...
I thought it was actually disconnecting into two separate parts.
I was thinking that you'd have to put it back together once it "split."

A tech package with Wireless Charging, 12" screen and upgraded stereo would be nice since this will be a daily driver.
If we get wireless Apple Car Play/Android Auto, its pretty dumb that you can't get Wireless Charging.
I'll most likely rig something up but it's still annoying you have to...
That would make sense.
I mean having carpet mats on the vinyl. Then if you're going on the trail or are in bad weather you can store them away.
i just assumed that the vinyl floor wouldn't come with any mats.
I have VW rubber mats with my current car and they're awesome.
I hope that theres...
I believe its standard on Black Diamond and Badlands.
The others are cloth and those like Outer Banks can have leather/carpet.
I'm not sure if Ford will option it for all trims?
