  1. Late reservation - Why Bother???

Reserved, placed a deposit on a Bronco.
  2. Late reservation - Why Bother???

I preordered about three weeks ago. Both of our current cars are paid off. My wife is due for a car early next year, and we're looking at a Model Y for her. Again this depends if she's going to be commuting again. If she gets a new car, then I'll take her Prius. I'm hoping to be in a Bronco...
  3. MPG Difference Between the 2.3 and 2.7?

Whatever it is, I'm hoping around 20 combined for the 2.3. I don't care what the 2.7 gets because theres no manual.
  4. Nitpicking due to frustration? More comfort and security features should be standard

I have my mirrors set correctly. It has to do with those times when you're tired or someone is speeding. That little light doesn't absolve you from turning your head, but it helps.
  5. If you wanted to "make" a trim, what would it be? What would it be called?

Death Valley. It's just a base model, but with no antifreeze in the radiator and no top. The dealer throws in a bottle of non-distilled water for you and sunscreen.
  6. 4 Door Owners Soft or Hard Top?

I like the idea of a soft top in general. I really enjoyed the soft top cars I had. I like the ease and modular nature of the soft top, but I wish the plastic windows were glass. But I don't like the lack of security of the soft top. Especially over the trunk area. I would like a hard top...
  7. OBX losing it’s luster

I'm not expecting this to happen, but it sure would be awesome if Ford just included these packages and didn't raise the price.
  8. Nitpicking due to frustration? More comfort and security features should be standard

Back up alert is a godsend. And so is blind spot monitoring. They are game changers. The lane keep assist can be annoying. or just not work. I'm not totally upset but it is unfortunate that they aren't standard like a lot of vehicles.
  9. Status Symbol Complex

The only status symbol /envy I'll get is if I'm parked next to a Sasquatched Bronco. It's going to make my 32/33's seem puny and my manhood can't handle that.
  10. First 2 finished pre-production 2021 Broncos - in Oxford White and Iconic Silver

Lol. This brings back some memories, I'd forgotten about for a long time.
  11. Ford explains why no manual with 2.7L Bronco

The thing is, the 2.7 and the 2.3 aren't that far apart in terms of performance for me to really whine that the manual is only available on the 2.3. Sure 40hp and 90tq isn't anything to sneeze at, but a $1500 stage 2 tune (on equivalent 2.3s) and you can essentially make up those gains.
  12. California Check-in

SoCal, reserved a Big Bend at Kerney Mesa Ford in SD. However I think I'm going for a Black Diamond when it comes time to order.
  13. Photos of pre-production Broncos on the assembly line.

I think you're right. My initial thought was WOW Carbonized Grey looks good... Then I saw some posts calling it Iconic Silver, then I was like hrmmm, it does look a little light. Then I pulled up the same pics as you and I was like, nah that has to be Carbonized Grey. S2000 had two similar...
  14. 6th Gen Bronco to Succeed where the Hummer h3 Failed.

The Bronco seems like it was made for fun. The Hummer seemed like it was made to be obnoxious.
  15. BWI Bronco Stabilizer Bar Disconnect Technical Information

I thought it was actually disconnecting into two separate parts. I was thinking that you'd have to put it back together once it "split." ... ?‍♂️
  16. What's in your toy box?

Hrmmm.... Let's see.... A Prius and a GTI. I also have a skateboard and a Little Tykes Cozy Coupe (stock).
  17. What is your "ala carte" options wishlist?

A tech package with Wireless Charging, 12" screen and upgraded stereo would be nice since this will be a daily driver. If we get wireless Apple Car Play/Android Auto, its pretty dumb that you can't get Wireless Charging. I'll most likely rig something up but it's still annoying you have to...
  18. Selecting the right trim level - ugh, it's overwhelming!

I thought the floor was made out of recycled Led Zeppelin records?
  19. Selecting the right trim level - ugh, it's overwhelming!

That would make sense. I mean having carpet mats on the vinyl. Then if you're going on the trail or are in bad weather you can store them away. i just assumed that the vinyl floor wouldn't come with any mats. I have VW rubber mats with my current car and they're awesome. I hope that theres...
  20. Selecting the right trim level - ugh, it's overwhelming!

I believe its standard on Black Diamond and Badlands. The others are cloth and those like Outer Banks can have leather/carpet. I'm not sure if Ford will option it for all trims?
