I bought the hardware kit that included the motor, esc, springs, servo, screws & bearings for 185.00. The radio was 60.00. Batteries 35.00. It took about 3-4 rolls of filament at 18 to 23 each. Curious to see what my electric bill is gonna be! Some of the prints took over 10 hrs.
I can't take credit for the design. A guy named Casadio designed it. I downloaded the files from cults3d. It really is incredible what he did in his spare time.
I finally finished printing and assembling my radio control bronco. I used translucent green but didn't realize the internal print would show thorough so much.
I just did mine yesterday. I used the SPV Performance kit. It came with the connectors unpinned so it was easy to fish the harness from engine compartment to the bottom of the windshield. Assembled the connector and plugged them in. I also used cloth cover over the harness.
I installed the buckle up buttercup winch plate with bull bar and a apex badlands winch. Both were very easy to install. I also installed the Maximus3 frame reinforcements.
I have a retevis ra86 and can't hit the repeater 5 miles from my house. I have an antenna on the ditch light mount. I have tried 3 antennas. I'm starting to think it's the radio.
Just to be sure. If you ordered it with the tow package it should be programmed already and the 7 pin connector should have power. All 24 and up have the wiring installed for tow package but the connectors behind the rear left panel are plugged into a dummy plug.
If the hitch was installed...
