I'd say that most people who leave their top and doors off almost permanently have a garage or a home with a driveway away from most other homes. There are "trail covers" that i'm sure will be made for the Bronco eventually that allow you to leave the top and doors off while having protection...
When you say smoother, do you mean on road comfort? How about the drivetrain? How does the ZF8 speed in the Wrangler (IMO one of the best automatics in the market) compare to the 10 SPD auto in the Bronco? How about the 2.0T vs the 2.3/2.7TT?
This is really what I am wondering when people review their new Bronco and say its so much better than the Wrangler on road when they haven't even driven a quality JL Wrangler especially the Unlimited model. The JK Wrangler and any Wrangler before that drove like $hit. The JL Wranglers with...
Congrats on the Bronco and I'm glad you are enjoying it. Can't argue with pretty much anything you've said. I would like to ask if you've driven a JLU Wrangler? I find that so many people compare the Bronco to the way how an older Wrangler like the JK (or a newer JL Wrangler with steering...
Agree with this. The beadlock rings being orange is a bit too much but I guess if the owner likes it. Maybe on another color but doesn't work on the Cactus Grey for me personally.
And that's all that matters. Congrats on the Bronco and the mods look great.
WhY DIdnT YoU GeT a WildTRACKZ?!?!?! Who F'ing cares, he got what he got and decided to mod it like thousands of others will do out there. Not to mention that he probably would've had to have waited even longer...
Lots of people complained about dealerships getting the dealer demo's in certain configurations but I do find its necessary for us to hear about user experiences like this one. Thanks for the share. Gives some good vibes to those worried about ever receiving their order or on the fence in...
The Wrangler 392 gets 14 MPG city while some who have test driven it say they are getting 12. There is no V8 Bronco and the Warthog should be a 3.0 V6TT so not sure why bringing up a V8 Bronco is relevant. If I had the 75K+ to spend on it then I wouldn't care about the fuel costs per se but I...
The Bronco dashboard will let you know if any temperatures are too high. Why be so worried if its a brand new vehicle with a full warranty? Drive it and enjoy it.
Have you had a turbo motor'd engine before? Definitely sounds different than a normally aspirated motor. I have a 2.0T Wrangler and it sounds like a mini turbo diesel with all sorts of strange noises that you wouldn't normally hear. If a belt or pulley is broken then you should notice...
More competition is good for Jeep/Ford. The Hummer EV is impressive but 100K in price and 9K pounds in weight doesn't seem like the smartest choice as a daily driver. I'd love to see something like the Colorado ZR2 with removable top/doors.
I don't understand why anyone who could actually afford a 392 Wrangler (out the door cost + fuel costs) would actually be considering a Bronco. I'd pick the 392 Wrangler any day of the week over any trim of Bronco including the future Warthog. I don't think anyone's opinion actually matters...
The new JL should not be "chasing the road" unless there is a steering issue that Jeep has acknowledged and is fixable under warranty: https://4wheeldriveguide.com/2020-jeep-wrangler-steering-problems-fixed/#:~:text=Certain%202018%2D2020%20Jeep%20Wranglers,on%20the%20Jeep%20JL%20steering.
