I've been running 5100's on my non sas BD for a couple of years now and think they're the best bang for your buck out there! I set them for about an 1.5" of lift.
I ordered my 22 non sas BD with the 4A transfer case and couldn't be happier. I upgraded the shocks to Bilstein 5100, installed Walker Links and 33" KO2's. I originally was going to order a Badlands but something in the back of my mind says front lockers on IFS at least a Ford IFS is not a smart...
Well, I'm not too sure how good your guarantee is that you can take a light and find issues in my mic. I've checked it continuously since the problem with the tops arose and nothing has changed. If as you say Ford in the end will replace all the tops great, but I'm not losing any sleep till then!
Just look it up on Amazon, it's called Voisen Sound Deadening Material, 36 sq ft for $36.19. My intentions are to use it more on the sides of the hardtop, around the side windows up to where the factory sound deadening material stops.
I bought a product off Amazon that is similar, a 3/16" foam sheeting with an adhesive backing for around $35. I think there is around 36 sq feet in the roll. I haven't installed it yet so I'm not sure if it will help with road/wind noise, but it can't hurt!
Not sure if the British built one's have Lucas Electrical ( the prince of darkness) or not! I know the older British cars used Lucas, what I nightmare they could be!!
Ford has built approximately 230,000 Broncos since they reintroduce it in 2021. I'd love to know the percentage of MIC tops that were/are faulty! Maybe I'm extremely lucky but I've had no problems with my top and it's a 2022 model year. And I figure if I do have a problem I'd probably be money...
Hold on to your purse strings on that Land Rover, if you think quality is bad on a Ford you haven't seen nothing yet! A friend has a 24 Defender that's a nightmare, air suspension is broken all the time. Warranty is covering everything for now but it's less than a year old and spent more time in...
Not me! If the 2.3 cost $2k more I'd still go with the 2.3. I've dealt with the cam phasers in a F-150 with a 2.7, never again! My old 68 Bronco with a 289 V8 had 170HP if you were lucky, so the 2.3 with 300HP is plenty! I admit the brakes are better with the V6, but I'm old and don't drive that...
