Put in a stinger 12” box with a Kicker Key 500.1 today. Man does it sound awesome…

While we’re at this - anyone mounted a Kicker Key 500.1? I see where everyone puts the Kicker Key 200.4 but the 500.1 is bigger and may not fit there. Since I got the wash out floor, I’m probably gonna have to mount it up in the dash on the passenger side.

I thought about swapping out the small sub. The thought of dissembling the right rear of my truck for this project scared me more than drilling 4 small holes into my tailgate for the Stinger. Since I’m keeping the smaller sub in, maybe I’ll tinker around with it producing the mids I’m missing...

Negative. Mine had the subwoofer but it’s pretty anemic though. Got a stinger 12” box on the way and will put it in with a Kicker Key 500.1 hopefully this weekend.

Swapped all 4 speakers out for the Polks this weekend. Definitely brought out the highs. But I’m definitely missing the mids and could hear the difference between the old and new speakers. Was a little concerned about the bass coming through on the tiny dash speakers too. I’m in the rabbit...

This is true. Added presets 11-13 from SiriusXM the other day from while fiddling with some settings.

Vision Turbine 17x8.5 +18 offset on BD stock General Grabbers 265/70/17. Small amount of poke and I’ll wear these new grabbers out before going to 33’s.

Got them installed. Vision Turbine Matte Black 17x8.5 +18 on stock black diamond Grabbers. I’ll go bigger when I wear these out. Looks great and nice amount of poke. Thanks for the info.

I digging this back up. Thanks for this post. I plan to add some 17x8.5 +18 offset wheels but also keep the stock grabbers. This is one of the only posts that accurately shows what it looks like.
