What a kick in the nuts. To add insult to injury we will be delayed along with the MIC tops but not get money or points that they are giving the hard tops for their delay.
so disappointing…
I saw the first non-dealer bronco in the wild today in my area. Is this anyone’s here? Actually this was the first time seeing A51 on a bronco. Looked good.
How many more of us Softops left? Everyone that gets thiers delivered gets me closer to getting mine. At least that is what I convinced myself to believe.
It has to be before the new hard tops come in? Right? lol...
Dealer is calling their Ford rep to check on this but I don't have faith that...
if you are interested in under the soft top racks, I would keep an eye on this. Maybe they will come up with one for a bronco.
I wonder if it would work to lay the kayak over the soft top with that rack supporting it underneath. Would need to lay a towel or something to save the top. Also figure...
i go in all weather including very cold days so it would not be ideal to have the soft top down to carry the kayak. Also I would want to add attachments for carrying fishing poles.
the closest I’ve seen are the baskets that mount behind the spare tire. I saw the one that mounts in the trailer...
Yep, have that link saved. But that is a full length roof rack. I just need to carry a kayak. So a small rack over the rear clamshell area would be great. Also to be able to flip the soft top back to position 1 anytime I want without the hassle of moving the rack would be a bonus.
Maybe I...
So I’m hoping to get a Builder to make one or both of these ideas.
1. Using the roof rack mounting spots on the windshield, incorporate a square bar mount. I would think this would be so easy to do. Almost like a light bar but it would be a straight roof rack bar. Then have something that...
Yep I hear you. I wanted a 2-door as well but switched. I’ll order the 2-door in 3 years when it’s hopefully much easier and sell my 4-door. Or not…
They will not schedule hard tops this year. If you don’t have your vin. So unless you want to wait for 2022 you should switch tops.
My position is you can always purchase a Hard top later. In a few years anyway. Whether from Ford or a better one from aftermarket.
My 2cents.
7/19 build week 4 door soft top, high package, no options but still stuck on dirt mountain. Hopefully this means they will start releasing some of soft tops. If not, welcome to the club!
Here’s to being cautiously optimistic.
I didn’t expect that he would need to replace the truck in a year or two but after 3 years. At which point Broncos will be readily available to anyone that wants one.
Why keep the miles low? Trade it and enjoy your bronco. When the time comes to sell it, there will be so many broncos available to replace it with by then. This isn’t a rare collectible truck. Drive the crap out of it.
