I used to do a lot of 8, 9 and some 10 in my built CJ and YJ. But now I’ll prob just go up to 7 with my basquatch. BTW those were my daily drivers too.
I was also curious (as others read the OPs post) if you could just run the front parts of the hardtop. Kind of like a hard bimini. I guess that's what ratchet straps are for lol.
Just got my email saying my reservation was converted to an in store order......3 weeks later. And it says I ordered a black diamond. I ordered a basquatch. Oh well, mine won’t be until 22 so I can make changes.
I got the email from Ford within 1/2 hour BUT the Ford website only shows that I have a reservation. I emailed my dealer to confirm they linked my order to my reservation. Fingers crossed
Yeah. My biggest concern is really the hitch mount itself. I’ve decided to do aftermarket bumper with a real hitch that won’t have any strength issues. I can add stiffer springs if necessary.
That’s cool. My camper is raised for forest service roads etc so it sits pretty high. I’m really just looking for a height number. I’m kind of banking on the aftermarket for developing a class III hitch.
Hey guys, does anyone know the height of the hitch from the ground? I need to know for my camper. It looks to be approximately 25 or 26 inches but can’t really tell. Thanks in advance.
Looks Good! Do you guys know if it’s possible to run the front panels without the rear top on, kind of like a hard bikini/Bimini top? That’s how I roll, doors off with bikini top (on the Jeep not me).
Ok, this is my first post on here. But, 3500 is a joke. I’ve been rockcrawling since the early 90s and there is no reason you can’t have suspension flex combined with a tow rating that’s better than a Subaru.
-4-runner is currently 5000, 4th gen was 7500 with v8
-keep grand Cherokee 7200...
