Went from 117ish first year, 75ish last year, to #60 now....
I'm hanging in there just to get the email that says price protection has been disappeared, like it was our fault Ford could not build them.
Day one rez here, got nothing but a few trinkets from Ford. And you ask about the dealer? I'll be damn if I'm paying over my deal. $1300 under invoice or keep the damn thing.
Not entirely correct, close though. The invite email plainly states many raptors are going to people and places where their excrement does not stink however, they are basically holding a lottery for us early reservation holders but only for those who click and say they are interested. There...
Do we know who all is getting the invite email? I got mine 3pm MST today. Wondering how big the group is and the process of selection, I'm assuming a random number generator, or hell, drawing from a hat.
'tis my understanding there are ten's of thousands of us from the first 24hrs that are still waiting while others who put in their order/request a year later have theirs.
Not only no but hell NO! From the very start it was "they will be made in order of reservation". The rest of the BS came...
Truer words have never been spoken. Salesmen are full of BS anyway you cut it.
Same here, the "new and shiny" has worn off. Glad I kept my JK, still have a 3.5 ecoboost motor and 10speed trans sitting in the shop waiting to go into it. Stretch the 2door 10 inches and put in the modern...
Yes I can, whole heartedly. All of the ford dealers in my state, you can count them on one hand, sell cars and trucks at "invoice" price. The only vehicles they do not are the limited production ones like the raptor and certain sport cars. The bronco is/will be a mass produced vehicle in the...
I just got wind of the FE fiasco, which did surprise me. However, I was referring to the entire "reservation" system at large. In a few months they will drop all pretenses.
Everyone may as well brace themselves for the next Ford bronco annoucement. "As of XX date if your reservation has not been fulfilled it will be cancelled." You are all free to visit your local Ford dealer and plead with them to sell you a bronco. Remember you heard it here first!
Glad to see more and more people get to the place I was last year. Either you have a reservation system or an allocation system, can't have both. It is OUR resevation, the dealer is just doing the F'n paperwork! I'm a day one reservation and looking at a 23MY 'cause of this bs.
And for...
As a lifelong Ford guy, well adult life that is, I hate to say it but it really is front and center on my mind to cancel my order.
Nope, they just told us they were NOT.
Yep, me too. I had to self-edit my first post, removing the four letter words, figured the thread would be deleted if I did not. Not a happy camper to say the least.
If you got a July build date I would not worry, this mostly affects those of us at the back of the line, 'ya know the first freakin' day reservation holders.
The thing is the pass points and the reduction of cost paid for the soft top, it DOES NOT pay for a hard top bought after the sale. The point value should be doubled IMHO.
