Can some one with current access to a Bronco, look up in the digital owners manual if the external door keypad, the one installed from the factory, is powered by hard wiring or battery?
If it is battery there should be instructions how to change the battery.
99 code is stopping the order from being built and only the dealer can change. OK, the salesman is a dead-end, go over his head (be nice) and get a person that knows more, someone at the dealership does. Talk to the General Manager or Director of Operations or whatever title they are using.
Historically, visibility sucks in a Lamborghini also, but it would not be a determining factor in my purchase decision for such a car.
Plus, luckily Ford made it really easy for a driver to improve visibility in the Bronco, just remove the doors and top.
Thanks for posting that great information.
Glad to see the factory pigtail under the dash to add a controller. I'm a little disappointed the controller is not part of the tow package however, it is understandable. With the tow rating so low any trailer connected should be in the range that...
I'm pragmatic about machines in general, there may be something wrong with a mass produced part but warranty will usually catch that, past there the truth is regular maintenance is the key to longevity, especially fluid changes. The 2.7 and 10 speed trans have years on the design and have a...
As I read through member's posts I find there is an extreme range of people that have lined up to buy the new Bronco.
People are at different stages of their life and the type of vehicle that is the Bronco can fill many duties in ordinary daily life as well as the dream that most cannot, or...
Very nice pics and video, thanks.
By definition, the SAS option is stock. Seriously though, Ford wants to put the best foot forward so most are SAS.
Ain't that in Iowa? As in Granger Iowa. Build it and they will come......
They may be counter-intuitive but are not contradictory and fully explainable. Just a different expression of the same idea, that is pointed toward a different audience.
The "ten's of thousands" of parts was referring to what is planned to be available, not what is actually on the ground at...
May I suggest you look into rear bumper/carrier combo's. Swing out carries are great for mounting all of your doodads and being out of the airstream.
Here is a random example of a guy that knows what he is doing.
The verbiage used regarding the doors and roof is usually "for weather protection only". If that was not stated then State laws would prevent you from removing them and driving.
Side note: I can't wait for a PDF of the owner's manual to be available, any other nerds out there looking forward...
There is only common sense, nobody has passed laws for such, even kalifornia.
My only advice would be to make sure your vehicle inside is clean before taking off. There will be flying debris. Either that, or take a quick spin with just yourself, you'll will be expecting it your passengers...
I feel you, had to fight that impulse as well. To my way of thinking, which can be wrong, is the commodities come in as a stream, the amount of flow can vary. There is totally a difference between capacity and actual production, we are talking about supplier capability not Ford's assembly...
