My best guess would be +6ish seconds. The bronco weights 5K lbs., as does the explorer. My explorer is ~365hp and rated at 5.6 sec. The bronco is 330hp max in stock trim. Plus so many gear ratios and tire sizes.
I don't think the fastest factory configuration would ever break 6 sec.
I see what you did there. I always modify parts, the tidbits never exactly match, so starting off with an ensemble isn't a negative for me.
Talk about polar opposites. I had one, exactly one, black car in my life, never again. I grant they look awesome clean.
I will admit my writing was confusing, but you did not read the entire post. Ford is not honoring the X plan with the Bronco, therefore if a dealer chooses to give a customer X plan pricing then they are cutting into their own profit to do so.
^^^^^^^^ It is 6 months of share ownership.
It is up to the dealer if they will honor the X plan, it cuts into their profit but entirely their call. If Ford honored it, it would not cut into the dealer profit and Ford has stated the Bronco will not qualify for the program, that ain't...
What you said was not trivial, it IS that you are trusting a salesperson that has NO WAY of knowing when your order will be built. He/she is lying to you, ergo my smartass comment. The highest probability is that you may take delivery in late 2022. Either way your sales person, dealer, nor...
My bad?
Courts do not place a value on items or services, not their job, that is in the purview of the parties when they enter an agreement. They only see that both parties agreed to the terms. Also, if one party sets the rules then they are held more closely to the terms than the other...
I'll admit I had zero desire for a tiny truck and did not keep up with the return of the Ranger in the 'merican market. However, after searching ranger5g site, I did not find any mention of a reservation system, just the usual "hey, I went to my dealer and made an order..." The usual process...
Too bad you are limited by garage size. Have you filed with a government program for help with your dire situation?
Seriously though, I feel bad for people that are trying to buy a bronco for daily use. The key here is not "needing" a vehicle, just adding an extra one.
Just start that off with "My Momma said..."
If you believe a salesman then I gots a bridge to sell you.
The actual story is Ford is suppose to provide everyone with a first round order a "window" of time that their build is planned to occur, via email before the end of May. Actually being...
