Kinda like the look and texture of the plastic bumpers on my base. Easy to clean and won't rust. Don't see spending several thousand to upgrade those but like you I would prefer a metal skid up front. May just buy a takeoff from an upper trim level and cut the slots out for the tow hooks.

Yep working fine no issues. If I don't drive it for a couple of days the fridge will shut off to prevent draining the battery.

I don't see why it bothers folks. If they want to take the tops and doors off, add 40" tires, 27 light fixtures and bash it on rocks it's good by me.

Mine all close with a single press (no hold) of the lock button. Forscan enabled.

I actually thought the same thing myself as I was typing that response earlier....

My base does not have it either. In fact my base doesn't have "sport goat mode" and I can't add it vis Forscan for some reason. Added "mud/rut" but no sport IDK. I prefer properly adjusted mirrors over BSM any day.

Mine is basically a toy as well. I'm at the age where comfort rules appearance/fashion (Not wearing elastic pants YET"). Granted if you can have both it's a bonus.

Not sure on the legal aspect. My base came with no factory tint on the back glass. I have 20% ceramic on everything except the front. The front is 50%. You can't tell the front is tinted but I don't even wear sunglasses inside the truck and there are no issues seeing out at night. Not cheap at...

N FL here an no issues with heat transfer. Ceramic window tint (including the front windshield) is also a worthwhile improvement.
