That sort of makes sense, I was under the impression that stuff made before may would be stickered at the MY22 price and would not "need" the actual price protection and that it was builds may and after that would actually have the price increase on the sticker
Please correct me then, I hopefully should be in one of the my22.5 price protection groups, I would like to know if something has changed or if I misunderstood Fords communications on the matter.
At this point it's all speculation other than the "Navigation Removal - Required Option"
For the Job 2 updates in the latest order guide
The Ford Authority report came from here, in the order guide thread where it was first noticed
All other reports seem to just refernce the Ford Authority...
Sound likes it would the GPS module removed esentially. so like google maps on your phone would fine, but the Sync4 navigation would be removed. If that is the case and it is supposed to help remove a constraint I'll opt for it as soon as possible
I'd say thats total nonsense unless Ford is planning to start making MY23 Broncos in June
There might be some nugget of truth in there with Job1 vs Job2 MY22/MY22.5 stuff, where everything not scheduled today will be a MY22.5/JOB2 build
No, it the (3/21) is just the to say the scheduling will take place the week of the 21st of March, specifically Thursday are when Broncos are typically scheduled so next Thursday the 24th. It has nothing to do with order dates or build dates in and around that week
Yeah every thing I've seen on the mfgs websites indicate is a thermal camera like FLIR, the images look like thermals, everything would just look like a normal black and white image more or less if it was NIR
those are great for nightvison goggles and what not, and probably will even increase your visibility with the normal front camera as most digital cameras are fairly sensitive to NIR. But they wont do anything to help "illuminate" the surroundings for a thermal imaging camera. They are two...
Most IR lights are near-infrared like 800-1100nm wavelength, Thermal imaging is done in the mid-wavelength and long-wavelength of the infrared spectrum like 3000nm-15000nm. You might as well be using normal fog lights(normal visual spectrum is about 380-740nm) for all a thermal imaging camera is...
The Pivot V2 does open 120°, the pivot point is only about 27.5" off the center line, so... maybe depends on your rack, I'll call my dealer and see if they have bronco on the lot I can take a tape measure to. The pivot point would need to be further out from the center line by a few inches than...
