Interesting. I like the look. I wondered if the glossy letters would be too shiny. I do like your matte letters too. If I am not sold on the glossy, I will probably order some matte letters next.
I will post back when I get them this week.
I really like the look of the Raptor grill, but I have no need for the marker lights. Plus $600+ could be spent better ways on the Bronco. Now if I found a cheap Raptor grill like my cheap Raptor bumper, lights, and skid, I might experiment.
I was playing with the blacked out grill look yesterday:
I looked at the letter covers from Ford, but I wasn't sure about the matte black that Ford sells on the glossy Wildtrak grill, and I didn't want to spend $110 to find out, so I ended up ordering some glossy black caps from Amazon for...
Beautiful Bronco.
I tried to buy a black Wildtrak but failed because the dealer played games with the price at the last minute. I told him to pound sand in more colorful language. I ended up with a white Wildtrak. It took a little while to grow on me, but now I am very happy with my...
I had the bumper off and the hitch installed in about 30 minutes. Spent the next several hours angrily trying to find a solution to my broken connector. Without the wd-40 it never went in far enough, even with the broken clip.
Same thing happened to me. Removed the bumper to install the Ford hitch. When re-installing, driver's side clicked without issue. Passenger side would click and the clip broken on the 3rd try.
I finally shot a little WD-40 in and was able to press far enough down then held things together...
The last thing that I would do before calling the tow would be to disconnect the negative battery terminal for about 10 minutes and see if a " turning it off and back on again" does its magic..
I totally forgot about the Raptor hitch. I would have ordered that instead. It is about $100 more. I should get my hitch this afternoon. Probably will install early on Saturday morning before the asphalt starts melting.
Ford sells the hitch as a kit with the bolts and a plate for the 4-7 pin connector for $420. You can buy the hitch and bolts individually for about $200. The 4-7 pin plate looks like it is included with the lumen kit.
I was out of town most of June and the first week of July. My Bronco sat outside in the Texas heat and started without issue. Only weird thing was that my TPMS system faulted probably because the tires had not moved in a month.
As far as voltage goes, 12.7 is a fully charged battery. 12.1 is...
I just ordered the ford hitch and bolts from Ruxer ford. It was about $210 shipped for the parts.
I also ordered the lumen kit from ford:

They currently have a 20% off coupon that take 20% off the parts and...
I am having the same module installed on my Wildtrak in 2 weeks. Keep us posted in what they say.
I also took advantage of the 20% off deal too just because of the cheap install.
I bought the hitch and bolts separately from Ruxer for around $210 with shipping. Thanks @flip
