They have showers and toilets at the two campgrounds there, Badin Lake and Arrowhead, and there are vault toilets at several of the trailheads. El Dorado Outpost is right on Hwy 109 near the entrances to the forestry roads that lead to the trails, you can get your annual or day passes there...
Look, I am not trying to convince you to get a snorkel, just putting out the real reason why people (should) need them. I donāt know what evidence you would need to prove they are beneficial, but as a worldly traveler, I have seen that they do in fact keep the air filter from getting clogged up...
Snorkels are a misunderstood accessory, if you look at their use around the world youāll see that they are vastly more utilized in dry dusty environments. They are made higher to get above as much of dust and debris as possible, as a side benefit, they also raise it above water when you ford a...
Not really anywhere around here, I am in New Bern and go out to Uwharrie (4 hourish) to hit the trails. If youāve never been it is worth the trip, plenty of primitive camping locations and a couple of pay campgrounds also.
Those are M8 bolt holes, definitely go easy the first time you put bolts in or use a thread chaser to clean them out of the paint that may have run in there during the build. The bolts for the rear hardtop are the same, I replaced those with the Rockworkx kit and bought this kit for hanging...
Yes, I have one mounted in my Bronco on the driver side roll bar. I would find the one that has the rubber coated clamps, so that it doesn't scratch the paint on the roll bar.
The age old conundrum, do I buy now or later? Will the price go up or down? Resale value (perceived) is being tanked! (Name of manufacturer) screwed us over!
In this game of life there is no right way when it comes to buying anything, there is perceived value and monetary value, everyone has to...
I havenāt been keeping up since I bought in August, but here is what I found when I was looking. I searched on Autotrader for what I was looking for, found a few dealers in Texas and Illinois that had Marsh Gray with leather seats and the MIC top, that is all I was looking for. I emailed and got...
I know they are not everyoneās cup of tea, but as an all around tire the KO2ās canāt be beat. They are not super heavy (which is important for the added stress to the suspension and drivetrain), not super loud, they do well off road (except thick mud), they last and wear evenly (if rotated...
Yeah, I was seriously looking at buying one of these, but I think I will just find a takeoff soft top. Not impressed with the fit and finish I am seeing, and Bestopās response does not inspire confidence..
Very cool, congrats on completing the event! Question from looking it up, to sign up it state you must have completed a previous 24HOA event, which other event did you do? It is something that interests me to possibly do in the future. Thanks!
Are you wanting to turn the AC/Heat off? You just push in on the temperature adjustment on the driver side and it will turn on/off. You can also turn it back on by turning the fan speed up.
Check out this thread for another option:

I like this option since I do not have to keep the winch weight on the Bronco full time.
No help with the platform question, but here is an option for a little cleaner window screen

cheap and effective, just measure and cut it down to fit, works well.
There are several different makers, but check out the Cliq chairs. They collapse down to about the size of a Nalgene bottle, they are pricey though. There are a ton of knockoffs available too, but I do not have any experience with the quality of those others. The Cliq chairs I have are holding...
