Agreed. I've had several vehicles equipped with rear goodies spanning over several years and multiple climates and have only used them a handful of times. That being said , I would add a kit if available simply to have it for resale as apparently many of today's buyers think they need it.

Matching the crossover of the factory sub might be a challenge. I'm planning on a self powered bass tube of some sort that will take its signal from the speaker leads. Ir can be strapped down or partially hidden.
