  1. Base Model Bronco Thread

MT Pros: it's cool it's fun no one will steal the damn thing Wife can't drive a stick does Ford know how to build an AT for rock crawling and other heavy off road use? 'murica MT Cons: does Ford know how to build an MT? I live in the damn BAY AREA It's MUCH easier to wheel an automatic Wife...
  2. Bronco Factory Donut Doors Nixed, But Tube Doors Still Available

The term has become bastardized, but used to mean doors with a lower waistline. Now they even call tube doors half doors for some reason.
  3. 200 Factory-Backed Accessories

Who in their right damn mind would offer a factory warranty on a winch? lol I broke it, again. Give me another one.
  4. Anyone else just want a basic bronco

Depends. I really don't want to do a regear if I lift, but at the same time huge tires make less sense with IFS.
  5. Bronco Factory Donut Doors Nixed, But Tube Doors Still Available

Realistically, I think half doors would be better than donut doors.
  6. Out of touch or is it me?

G-wagen has three factory lockers, SFA, and with the portal axles will crawl over a damn mountain.
  7. Out of touch or is it me?

    *laughs in XJ*
  8. Out of touch or is it me?

ngl, until the 90s, lots of people were wheeling with Yotas and Jeeps that saw less than 150hp on a good day.
  9. Out of touch or is it me?

Starts under 50k. I've seen 2 110s with steelies in my 'hood, so that's not unreasonable since some Wranglers and Bronco builds can go into the 60s.
  10. 4x4 Class 101 (Saving Broncos from Permanent Mall Crawler Duty)

I've been through 2 ARBs in the last 3-4 years. Don't make them like they used to.
  11. Base Model Bronco Thread

Will see what the builder shows, but ideally a sasquatch with the MT would be great, AT less so. If the bump stops limit tire travel, it would almost make more sense to get a BASE BASE model with nothing and install an LT kit yourself--not sure if there'd be one available or retrofitted from...
  12. After purchase options/features install questions

Buying stuff you should have bought from the get-go or trying to upgrade your vehicle with OEM parts will always be stupid expensive compared to getting it outright at the time of build/purchase. There are countless threads on countless vehicle forums about turning X into Y at ridiculous expense.
  13. Anyone else feel like Ford is doing this all wrong?

Can someone explain something to the retard (me). Ford says that reservations after Sept 15 won't be MY 2021, but MY 2022... but also people are saying that not all reservations will be converted to a build. So that means there are much more reservations than builds, especially if dealers are...
  14. Is the Bronco wrong for me?

99% of the people driving around massive SUVs, trucks, and 4x4s would be better served with a small hatchback. Drive what you want.
  15. How To Drive My New Bronco.... Road vs.OFF-Road.. 2W vs 4W Setting..MODES??

On road I wouldn't bother with anything besides either using 4H auto vs 4H lock for snow and ice, 2H for everything else. Drivetrain bind isn't a huge deal and people freak out about it needlessly.
  16. Anyone else feel like Ford is doing this all wrong?

So, essentially this favors dealers when deposit holders start walking away.
  17. Anyone else feel like Ford is doing this all wrong?

With no additional commitment? Lots of dealers are claiming no additional deposit necessary to build. Easy to walk away from that 65k custom build if it just costs you 100 dollars.
  18. Anyone else feel like Ford is doing this all wrong?

It seems a great idea to build 150k vehicles to customer spec based on a $100 deposit.
  19. Official Update: Bronco Reservation Move Cutoff Date (Jan 31) + 2021MY Allocations Cutoff Date (Sep 18) + 2022 MY Reservation Start Date

Because a dealership has more to say than some guy who paid $100 on the Internet, and this would not be a custom build but just a vehicle constructed with popular equipment packages.
  20. Official Update: Bronco Reservation Move Cutoff Date (Jan 31) + 2021MY Allocations Cutoff Date (Sep 18) + 2022 MY Reservation Start Date

Well, I hope you’re right, because based on the language of the letter, I will not be able to get a 2021, but rather a 2022… Whenever that becomes available to build. So you’re telling me that a Ford dealership will not have unreserved Broncos to sell prior to me getting the build that I was...
