No pics, but with temps in the high 50s this weekend, I took the top off. That makes it at least once every month since delivery. We have had family in town the past week, and the 4 seater Bronco can't quite haul 5 of us. I have to admit, I've missed driving it around. I've only had it out a...
Last weekend, we had about a 140 mile round trip drive in crazy high winds. Wind noise from the cab corners was a bit excessive. On Wednesday, while my wife was shopping at a store that’s a combination outdoor wear and hardware store, I decided to pick up some pipe insulation that I’ve seen...
A 2 door is the perfect reason to say "Sorry, we don't have room!" I wonder if I can talk my wife into a 4 door. Hmm, maybe a Raptor in a couple of years?
Well, I have to say. You know you've made the right choice in vehicles when the family is sad we can't take it somewhere. We offered up a ride to a fellow hockey player, and with my son being a goalie, we couldn't fit two sets of gear in the 2 door. My wife and son were bummed we couldn't fit...
Anniversary of sorts, today. It was one year ago I placed my order.
My wife surprised me earlier. My son has an out of town hockey tournament next weekend. I figured she'd prefer her vehicle for a long haul, loaded vehicle trip. She said "We're taking the Bronco, right?" I guess we're taking...
All sorts of noise things at our house yesterday. My wife was going nuts hearing banging, and the outside breaker box door was open. It didn't get fully closed after resetting a breaker. Slamming doors, beeping batteries. The best thing to come out of this is a laugh, and I guess I took care of...
Ok, so I"m an idiot, which I'm sure was the expected outcome. It's the physical overhead garage door opener backup battery. I shoulda waited to post until the morning...
I need to go for a drive this morning and see if it stops when I'm away from the house again today. Very odd. I don't think it's a prank noisemaker, unless it's GPS/location activated and only does it when I get to my house.
I do wish it was that simple. I've pulled it outside, and the noise is definitely coming from the Bronco. No smoke detector in the garage. It's still doing it this morning. I"m sure this is going to be something that when I get it to the dealer, it won't do it there.
Thanks, nothing detected there. The Bronco "chimes" every 30 seconds. My wife, son, and I have been all over it and can't figure out where it's coming from.
Now that I mentioned it earlier, the sound resembles a smoke detector with a weak battery.
Tonight I got home, and my Bronco won't stop a repetitive chime from the rear of the vehicle. Sounds like it's from the underside. It does it vehicle on/off, driving forward, driving reverse, parked outside, inside. I went and got gas to do a brief drive cycle, and strangely, it did not chime...
I think unless something significant (modular painted top, V6 with the manual, etc) is available, I'll probably refrain from another order for now. My wife did a good job convincing me to order what I wanted. We're close in mileage, I'm at about 2500 miles right now.
Very cool, glad I could help. I've had the rails off for a while now. I mainly got them for some canoe trips, but figured the cost penalty was cheaper than buying them after the fact.
I know I've said it before, but I get more compliments on the color than I do the fact that it's a Bronco.
