Got my Bronco back last Thursday from dealer for the windshield recall. Took 3 days and no issues. No leaks, or damage. They use a professional windshield company to remove, the body shop fixed the window channel and the outside company reinstalled it.
check out my reply above. Any questions just ask. I think I have ordered just about everything they offer. Including the trail site inlays. Pics if you need them or, we can meet up somewhere and you can take a look. I am located in South central PA
@Rubisquatch The lighter blue, not the dark blue. it is close but not an exact match. close though . i have a lot of that vinyl in my interior including the horses on steering wheel and shifter( pain in the ass to get right!) if you want pics, let me know
Finally pulled the trigger and put my badges on. Also had painted mirror caps put on. I didn't reuse my wildtrax badges because one of them started coming apart.(warranty) my better half helped with placement and gave final approval!👍😁 I did use an adhesion promoter on all the emblems. Dealer...
While I am at it, I saw on this forum somewhere that there's measurements and or diagram for placement of the script badges. Anyone have a clue of such a thing?
I got the goat emblems from my dealer at $24 a piece. Bought 2 because I am not sure what or where they will go. But thick and good quality! Come in a large box compared to the actual badge
Congratulations! It's worth the wait. Many fun times to come! Just a side note, go over it well. Check everything. I have a great dealer but I found a couple small things that they didn't. Hope to see you around.
Looks good! So what brand of lights and bracket did you use for the front bumper fog light pocket? I have been looking and can't pull the trigger yet.....
OMG! I ordered 2 when they 1st became available. Have them in my box of goodies for the Bronco. Thought I had an idea where to put one or both but now I have too many options! Getting the tape out and placing them temporarily in every suggestion and standing back and analyzing it!!!! My wife...
I was going to post about this product but you beat me to it! Have used this product forever on my Jeep sift top windows as well as all of my motorcycle windshields and helmet visors. Works great on instrument bezels as well!!! I always use new microfiber polish towels too.
@FordRacing1 Thanks for stopping by. Enjoyed your visit. Hopefully the club can get together for the Ford Nationals or the Truck Nationals as a whole next year! Don't forget, when you get yours we will definitely meet up!!!
Yes, interested. Tried this year and I guess not enough of us had theirs yet. It has to be early to get spots! Ford Nationals in 1st week of June might also be an option? Let me know if you need a hand. Message me on here directly if so.
Scheduled for 22nd of August at dealership body shop. It must be performed by a dealer in order to be covered and deemed fixed by the recall notice. Just can't or wouldn't go to just any body shop! Sounds like a bad dealership! Sorry!
