He just needed a wiff of the new car smell, new cars not so plentiful now…🤣
I like the Guardline alarms, they work great on my driveway and property. They have some that are 1/4 mile range too. You can set different melody for different areas of coverage, so you know where to look.
My new 22 Bronco had rusted shafts and some backing plate nuts/bolts on rear were also rusty. Fender sight bolts on driver side too. I removed those and used Rust reformer with top coat of satin black. I wire brushed driveshafts and used Rust Reformer with a satin black topcoat. Look good now...
My Bronco had rust on these fender bolts on driver side when i received it, i removed them applied rust converter and a satin black topcoat. Easier and less time consuming than taking to and waiting on dealer to replace. It’s just a bolt….
I put rust converter/and paint on rusty driveshafts...
Drawtite Part number 76527 matches on instructions that came with. Hitch has no number stamped or labeled, other than load specs.
But it fits now. took me longer to make these posts than it did to fabricate spacer. How many applications/minor deviations would be that close with holes that...
I thought about returning but easier for me to make plate. No guarantee that 2nd one did not have gap.
So already made my spacer, fits good takes out the gap. 1/4 inch x 1.5 inch mild steel. I traced holes on back side of frame member. They must be die punched. Not symmetrical spacing.
I called Etrailer the person I spoke with said to hit the plate with a rubber mallet. I think even the rubber mallet would be cringing on that, ha. I called the manufacturing supplier he looked at drawing which showed channel should be approx. 2.8 inches. I measured mine at 3 and 3/32 wide. He...
I just got the Drawtite hitch. I trial fit on my 2022 Bronco and it has about a 3/8 inch gap in the hitch channel to frame cross member fit. I don’t think i can pull that gap together (ie deform the 1/4 inch steel plates) by torquing the mounting bolts. See attached pic.
Do you think there is something in your build related to chip hold, i.e., tow pkg, adaptive cc, or similar? When did you reserve? I found out mine went to production status when i asked dealer to resubmit order to delete MIC. 5k markup for someone who has a reservation/order seems like a lot...
I got an email from Ford today telling me they were working hard to get my vehicle through production but there had been additional delay. ?? Not sure they know it was delivered / purchased already 11 days ago. Wow a bit of confusion.
I took delivery of my long awaited Bronco today! I’m glad i picked Cactus Gray. Looks great. Did not get stuck waiting on chips, delivery to dealer took about a week and a half.
I had to spray my 97 F-150 XLT wiper spray button at the end with wd-40, they got a little too much factory grease in there that prevented contact. 400k miles I replaced the 5.4L engine when I had a big coolant leak and cooked the head gaskets. Good truck.
So now everything on a single expensive stalk these days. More and more functions.. I don’t mind so much they are more reliable than the vacuum motor wipers I had in my 71 AMC Gremlin. Winter was the worst, tied a string on each side and pulled through windows to move them. Replaced with an...
I have a day 2 reservation (OBX 4dr, SAS, High, MIC)and finally got a production notification from Ford in January with VIN and window sticker. Blend date of 2/03. I dropped the TOW pkg when I had to reorder for 2022, hoping to speed the order. The tracker site isnt working last few days. Dealer...
