Well.... had to get towed out by a Jeep again.... Broke my right hand CV shaft Snow Wheeling again.... yes I know... big tires and big lift, too much travel. Working on some changes.

I'm going on 3 years with mine and love them. Holding strong.

Just had a new cv shaft put in last week and it's doing this... will have it in the shop later today. Will check to see if the bearing got pushed in?....

Also check that the hinge bolts are tight. I had that issue. Tightened the bolts and it went away.

You have nothing to worry about. Some people have told me that my Bronco is Not a "Boat" ..... As long as your boots are clamped and in good condition you are good to go.

Yea, those were some sketchy boots. Hindsight is 20/20. I think a lot of us have learned something from your experience... so there's that I guess.

Oh nice! I never thought of using the UCO to heat the water. I just got it. Can it get water boiling? I know it doesn't need to boil for coffee but.... I could bring my insulated french press up there and make my two cups.... thanks for the Advice! I'll try it this weekend. Going out again!

Anyone else love camping in a Snow Storm?

These are the only two pictures I could find. But if your tires were spinning and all of a sudden grabbed onto some traction, that's what caused it.

I blew up one of these cases in my old ranger. I work at the dealer so we opened it up. I'll see if i can find the pics. What happens with these most of the time in snow or ice, is that the tires spin, then abruptly make contact, coming to an abrupt stop and shred the gears like butter...

Usually if I get stuck, I just pull out the winch. Don't even bother with the boards.
