I'm not sure if you got this repaired or not yet, but, and I'm just spitballing here, it sure seems to point to an erratic speed signal input to the control module(s). I'm curious to know what it was when it is repaired.
Same issue with my dealer. Maybe the norm. I've never reserved and ordered a vehicle before. Always bought from stock. Although I thought that there'd be a little comm.

Town and Country Ford in Alabama has a YouTube channel. They have a video showing them fitting different size tires to a Bronco. It also shows them removing the crash bars for the larger tires. I too have wondered the point of the crash bars if Ford removes them anyway for the Sas package.

I agree. If pushing clutch in a litttle stops noise, then it's the throw out bearing. If you have to push it down all the way, then I would suspect a trans issue.
