No. Ford signed Webasto to a contract to build Bronco roofs. Webasto builds roofs for other vehicles as well. No reason for Ford to have a contingency plan. If you start mixing roofs from multiple suppliers you may have roofs , but just as easily multiply your problems.
Anyone else wondering if their build is waiting on chips? I know Ford said it's not an issue, but seems like a logical explanation for these taking much longer to ship.
Congrats! I'm still sitting "In Production" with a 6/29 blend date. I'm only 4.5 hours from th plant which makes it tough knowing it's so close but so far away.
Ford learned their lesson when they rebadged the Taurus as the 500. No one bought the 500, but the Taurus was one of their all time best vehicles. Going with a name people know is better than a new name.
If I'm honest with my self the Sport probably fits my needs better than the Bronco. Capable...
My first trip will probably be a camping trip to Allegheny National Forest. They have some decent dirt roads to go down and it's only an hour and a half away. Taking my soon to be 9mo old for his first camping trip.
My blend date was on 6/29. On the morning of the 30th my Bronco showed up in my FordPass and my online account. No emails though. They will still be shipping next week they just won't be making any.
4Dr cactus grey OB, NON-SAS, MIC, high package, tow, roof rack....
I have a blend date of 6/29. My tracker added the 6/30 date on the 30th and also my Bronco showed up as available to activate in FordPass.
I called today and they confirmed it was built but not shipping date yet which sucks as...
I agree. I have an OB
It may not show "built" for a while. The 29th was my blend date and it's still "in production". However, I can find it on Ford Pass and customer service let me know it is built. Brought a tears to my eye thinking about it sitting in a parking lot on a long sunny weekend.
Congrats!
Mind sharing your timeline of info? I had a build date this week and from everything I can tell it's somewhere, but still says "In Production"
Can't join USAA, but my local credit union was as low as 1.75% for up to 60 months and 1.99% for 72.
I had a build this week and my salesman told me I'd be better off shopping around.
That is awesome! My build date is today and I'm praying for a delivery (convoy) before Saturday so I can have it for the long weekend. It sitting at the dealership until Tuesday would be extra painful.
