Well that's what I can't seem to get a straight answer on...if adding HOSS triggers 2022.5 MY pricing. The Ford update email was a bit unclear, but did say "Changing your series, equipment package, number of doors, or 4x4 system will cause your order to update with new mid-year price levels."...
It's not even the dollar amount for me, it's purely the principle. After waiting so long, and then this shady gamesmanship on pricing from Ford. Can't in good conscience give them a single penny.
so shady. I think I'm done with Ford. I'm just going to leave my order as is. If it gets build and there is still a market it to flip it, I will, otherwise dealer can just keep it when it shows up.
Right, but then does that mean you trigger 2022.5 MY pricing? I can't seem to find or get a straight answer on that question. HOSS at $5k (option plus increased pricing) isn't really worth it in my opinion.
Yes, but the Ford update language is ambiguous at best and seems to call it the HOSS Edition in places while stating that changing series or edition etc will trigger 2022.5 MY pricing. My dealer doesn’t even know the correct answer, which is frustrating, but probably not as frustrating as trying...
100% agree and def want to add to my unscheduled WT build, but I’ve yet to get a straight answer as to whether or not adding HOSS triggers MY 2022.5 pricing. If it does, it becomes like a $5k cost, which isn’t worth it.
But does this include the HOSS? That's what I'm trying to figure out. Have a WT order and dealer told me yesterday he can't even try to add HOSS to my order until March 8th/9th. If adding that triggers 2022.5 MY pricing, that will be the last straw and I will move on to a Wrangler 392.
Does anyone have a read on whether or not adding HOSS to an unscheduled WT order will trigger the below (contained in the Ford update email) regrading triggering 2022.5 MY pricing?? Effectively makes the HOSS add $5k.
