I wouldn’t have an issue with those changes myself. The disabling Of the Broncos battery management to trick the system in to disabling auto start / stop by using SuperChips method is what I would be concerned about. I will probably buy the auto stop start eliminator too for mine.
I asked the folks at 4DTech about a programmer from them to disable start/stop like their device to disable double horn honk. They told me that it is impossible to program the system to disable start/stop on the 2023 model Broncos. I told them that SuperChips was working on it now and that...
Sorry, but I'm confused on how the list works. For instance, I see that Mobile 1 Advanced Full Synthetic 5w-30 oil is listed above and I think we are saying it is "approved" for the Bronco. I followed that hyperlink and saw on the Mobil website that the Mobile 1 Advanced Full Synthetic 5w-30...
I’ve also thought that function should be available. It seems like a tech company somewhere could come up with a small box with a 256gb micro sd and connecting wires to tap in to the Broncos existing cameras. Way beyond my abilities r though!
You are absolutely right about the wiper not reaching to the location of the camera. Guess I'll need to clean that spot often or perhaps move it to a different spot. The Bronco rear wiper is really small so it looks like if I moved the dashcam to where the wiper would clear that area it would...
Installed two separate dash cams, one in front and one in rear window. (I didn't want to use the Dual Dashcam and have to run a wire from the front camera to the rear camera) I used the Vantrue E1 and E1 Lite because they are pretty small but still have a good picture. To power the front camera...
I'm no pro for sure but love to video motorcycle rides and Bronco rides. I have used a GoPro and an Insta360 x3 camera mounted on the dash. I've even used my DJI drone to follow-me down the road. For video editing I use an older version of Cyberlink Powerdirector. I like posting my videos...
I agree with you 100% on remote id. They postponed it again until March 16, 2024. I have a Mini2 also and will keep it because it works great and like you said it doesn't require remote id. I will check out "MisAdventure Lab" .
Start out with a Refurbished DJI Mini 2. It's about $300 and easy to fly. It also doesn't require registering it with the FAA since it is below 250 grams in weight.
You can get a DJI Mini 2 that would fit most of your needs for about $300. https://store.dji.com/product/dji-mini-2-refurbished-unit?from=pages-refurbished&vid=107062
That was an excellent video! Looked the Active Track worked well while following your white Bronco. I saw that you were the more daring driver! Very nice manual flying as well.
Thanks. It was more of a rant on DJI than an advertisement for the Maven app. I do believe the DJI follow-me feature would certainly have lost me in the trees. I've tried the DJI app follow-me mode several times with very little success. The DJI app will lose me even in clear sight if I am...
